When I think about the New Year, my mind goes back to my childhood. The New Year brought endless joy and happiness to my childhood. When I was a child, I was deeply remembered.

Making hemp candy is more complicated, and popcorn should be made in the early stage. There are two kinds of popcorn: one is fried and the other is concocted. If the sugar is not boiled well, the hemp sugar will disperse and not take shape, and all the ingredients will be wasted. Grandpa is a good at boiling sugar, and has helped my family boil sugar for many years.

After the sugar is boiled, stir well with the popcorn while hot. Popcorn was served in a large round bamboo basket, and the iron spoon of sugar was used on the outside, and slowly poured into the basket from top to bottom, my father wielded a long-handled shovel, and my mother, my brother and my sister washed their hands, rolled up their sleeves and kept stirring around together, and I happily joined in. Popcorn is wrapped in sugar and sticks to the hands, sticky and fragrant. I stirred and ate, sweet in my mouth and heart.

Once stirred, pour the hot, sticky popcorn candy balls into a special rectangular wooden frame and spread them flat. The wooden frame is placed on a washed wooden board covered with linen towels. Then spread a linen towel on the flat popcorn sugar ball, everyone washes their feet and stands on it to press the molding, after cooling, go to the frame, cut the strips into pieces, and the hemp sugar will be done.

The adults each had a kitchen knife to cut the candy, the brothers and sisters helped their mothers put the cut hemp candy into the porcelain jar, and I sat there and ate it with taste, the sweet taste, making people satisfied and happy!

I don't know when I found a rule, every year from one year to a young age, my mother is like a new person, especially gentle with our brothers and sisters, and tolerates each of our mistakes. For this reason, from the beginning of the year to the sixteenth day of the first month, in addition to doing my part - herding cattle, I spent the rest of the time playing with my friends without scruples. Sometimes I forget to eat.

In the happy and relaxed New Year's Festival, I remember the dragon dance that begins every year on the second day of the first lunar month. As long as there is a dragon dance team coming, I always follow the dragon dance team to see the liveliness, walk the streets and visit the house, tirelessly. Enthusiastic people will stuff fruit into the pockets of lively children. Over time, I remembered a lot of the dragon dance movements, musical drums, and cheers of the dragon dance team.
