On August 25th, the Shandong Women's College "Language" You Peer Education Care Practice Group came to The Chengcai Educational Institution in Tianma Town, Shouguang City to carry out practical activities.

Under the leadership of Gao Xue, the head of the practice group, the volunteers prepared the cardboard, printed tutorials, scissors and glue needed for the activity in advance, and fully prepared for the origami activity. Since it was the first time to carry out the activity, the volunteers of the practice group also prepared exquisite small gifts for the children to close the distance between each other. It was agreed with the principal of Chengcai Educational Institution to meet at 8:00 a.m. on the 25th, but we were all ready at 6:00 in the morning and couldn't wait to take the car to leave. Along the way, we're all dreaming of what the new day will be like.

When we walked into the classroom, we were greeted by innocent smiling faces. When I put what I needed on the podium, one of the children asked me with big black eyes: "Teacher, what is this?" Don't we have to learn this lesson? "This is a card, a moment of origami, this lesson is a manual lesson, exercise hands-on ability." I said. When I heard the news, I could see the twinkle in their eyes, full of anticipation and surprise. It is true that today's children are much more stressed than before, and there is no carefree childhood, but it adds a lot of extracurricular homework troubles. In the conversation with several children, I found that they had never done handicrafts, origami, paper-cutting, etc. in school since they were young, and their lives were almost overwhelmed by the cultural class.

When the time came, the children were all eager to move, we sent the cardboard to the children one by one, a few children also volunteered to help volunteers distribute cardboard, the cardboard was divided and then busy distributing scissors and glue, and I began my task, as a small teacher, teach the children origami, first of all, I have been folding a thousand paper cranes and hearts, in the process of teaching, I seem to have returned to my childhood, when there is a mobile phone, the most to do may be origami, play cards and paper cuts, Now see the happy smiles of the children, find that the world is still so beautiful, there are children, the smile will not disappear.

And one of the children I remembered the most was a girl, after teaching three origami patterns, I gave the rest of the time to the children, let them use their imagination according to the tutorial, origami on their own. And then a girl found me, it turned out that she had not heard how the heart shape was folded, she said that she must fold a heart shape, I asked her "Why?" She said, "I want to fold a big heart for my mother, she works too hard", hearing this sentence, suddenly found that children are treasures, she will inadvertently surprise you.

"First of all, we have to fold this place in half, and then fold it like this, and fold this place into it" I slowly taught her how to fold step by step, and it was folded in a short time. She was folded with red cardboard, and after folding, she also wrote the words Mom, you are the back, and her carefulness and understanding were not expected. Seeing the children seriously origami and helping their companions fold the difficult places, we saw a beautiful friendship from them. After a while, all kinds of origami were completed, including chairs, thousand paper cranes, red hearts, etc., showing us a colorful and strange world.
