Chinese Herald News (Reporter Yang Wenkai) The farewell memorial service of President Masao Inagaki, the elder of the Japanese advertising industry and the founder of ADK Co., Ltd., was held on June 17 at the Okura Hotel in Tokyo. The presidents and presidents of more than 80 listed companies and more than 2,000 people from all walks of life participated in the flower presentation, and Chinese Ambassador to Japan Cheng Yonghua attended the farewell ceremony.
Masao Inagaki was born on October 27, 1922 in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, and died on April 16, 2015 at the age of 92. He is the first generation of entrepreneurs in the Japanese advertising industry and an active practitioner of Sino-Japanese friendship. In 1956, asahi News Agency Co., Ltd. was founded, and in 1999, after merging with Daiichi Planning, ADK was established, becoming one of the three major cities in Japan's advertising industry. Throughout his life, President Inagaki advocated "full management" and integrated Confucianism into the management philosophy, which had a far-reaching influence on the Japanese business community.
At the memorial service on the same day, a commemorative photo of the life of Masao Inagaki was exhibited, and the "full management" inscribed by Shao Huaze, former president of the People's Daily, was also exhibited, which is the entrepreneurial spirit advocated by Masao Inagaki throughout his life, that is, to maximize the enthusiasm of the employees of the enterprise, so that everyone has a sense of operator, pay together, and harvest together.
Masao Inagaki has been looking forward to China since he was a child, and he can recite the Analects in The Japanese elementary school textbooks at that time. In his youth, he taught himself Chinese and prepared to study in Beijing, but Japan's war of aggression against China shattered his dream. Inagaki had to study the "Four Books and Five Classics" and "Twenty-Four Histories" by himself, to further understand and get close to China through history and culture, and also prepared a strong spiritual soil for future business operations.

After China's reform and opening up, Masao Inagaki, who had founded the Asahi News Agency Advertising Company, became the head of the first return visit group of the Japan Advertising Industry Association in 1979, taking the lead in leading the all-Japan advertising delegation to visit China, and Asahi News Agency also became the first Japanese advertising company to enter China. At present, ADK has established 16 joint ventures in three places across the Taiwan Straits of China.
In the Japanese advertising industry, ADK is known for its passion for promoting cultural exchanges between China and Japan. Masao Inagaki personally traveled to Andromeda and China and Japan many times, which led to the June 2004 Japanese Sumo Wrestling Performers in Shanghai and Beijing, which was a sensation when the Great Sumo wrestling re-entered China after a gap of 31 years, causing a sensation; in 2007, Inagaki and ADK successfully promoted the Japanese Kabuki to achieve Chinese performances. After the Wenchuan earthquake in China in 2008, Masao Inagaki donated 10 million yen to the disaster area through the Chinese Embassy in Japan on behalf of ADK, which led to a wave of love donations from Japanese enterprises and promoted the cause of Sino-Japanese friendship.

Masao Inagaki is the pioneer of The Japanese advertising industry and a pioneer in the internationalization of advertising business. In January 1984, Asahi News Agency established a business and capital partnership with BBDO, the fifth largest in the American advertising industry, and in August 1998, Asahi News Agency reached a business and capital partnership with the British WPP Group, which ranked first in the global advertising industry. Today, ADK operates around the globe, with a particular focus on China and Asia. ADK is also an important partner for Expo 2010 Shanghai.

ADK is not only the third largest advertising agency in Japan, but also known for its collaborative promotion and production of the famous anime Doraemon. In 1963, asahi News Agency, the predecessor of ADK, ventured into the field of television animation, creating a new model of buying out domestic TV animation advertising activities in Japan, and was responsible for the overall promotion of animation such as "Doraemon" and "Crayon Shin-chan", which was known as "The Asahi of Animation". Today, Doraemon has become a memory shared by Chinese and Asians, thanks to Masao Inagaki's leadership skills and the promotion of ADK.
