Shangguan Yi was a very unfortunate child when he was a child, and his father Shangguan Hong was killed when he betrayed the courtier Yu Wenhua and launched a palace coup to murder the Sui Emperor, and he was sent to a temple disguised as a small monk with the help of well-meaning people, so as to avoid a life and death disaster. From then on, Shangguan Yi took up residence in the monastery, working hard while studying hard, and later he finally did his best to become a Beijing official in the examination, and also won the favor of a generation of Ming Emperor Tang Taizong with his full talent.
After Emperor Gaozong of Tang succeeded to the throne, Shangguan Yi was also very highly valued, but he never imagined that the new emperor's blue eyes would later make him lose his reputation, his family was destroyed, and he died without a place to die.
The first crown prince created after Emperor Gaozong of Tang ascended the throne was his eldest son Li Zhong, and Li Zhong's mother was a palace maid of humble status. When Wu Zetian's son Li Hong was three years old, Emperor Gaozong of Tang deposed Li Zhong as crown prince and made Li Hong the new crown prince. Guo Xingzhen left in a panic after greeting him, and when he felt strange, Wang Fusheng looked around, and found a small wooden man on the ground that was quite similar to the emperor, and Wang Fusheng knew that this was a prop used by the Daoists to engage in the art of victory, so he did not hesitate to hand over the wooden man to Tang Gaozong.
The so-called "art of disgust" is the use of spells to curse or pray to subdue people, things or demons that are disgusted by death, just like the witches prevalent in the Han Dynasty.
When the wooden man appeared in front of Tang Gaozong, he understood everything, this was Empress Wu Zetian wanting to put him to death! It was tolerable, but it was intolerable, and Tang Gaozong finally came out of anger, and he wanted to fight back, and he fought back without hesitation.

Shangguan Yi's side had just prepared the Holy Will according to Emperor Gaozong's wishes, and Wu Zetian's side had already learned of this sunny thunderbolt from the eyes and ears installed next to the emperor.
Shangguan Yi's front foot had just left, and Wu Zetian's back foot rushed to Tang Gaozong's heel.
Wu Zetian knew that Tang Gaozong was an amorous and cowardly man, so while crying about her hard work in raising children and acting as an agent for state affairs, he also scolded Tang Gaozong for not remembering his old feelings and intending to abolish his negative deeds. After all, Tang Gaozong and Wu Zetian were old husbands and wives who had been sleeping together for more than ten years and had a large group of children and children; he looked at Wu Zetian, who was crying like a pear blossom with rain, and listened to her affectionate and infinite grievances, and the anger in his heart slowly transformed into a full of guilt, and finally he simply put all the responsibility on Shangguan Yi, and said to Wu Zetian with tears in his eyes: "I didn't have this heart at the beginning, and all the officials taught me." ”
People who are easily impulsive are often the most likely to regret, and Tang Gaozong is such a person, and his impulsiveness and regret in the matter of the abolition pushed Shangguan Yi's father and son onto the road of no return.
