Boffinger (Steve Martin) dreams of becoming a filmmaker, but still living in poverty, he is clearly far from the Hollywood high society he dreamed of. Although he only has $2184 in his hand, it does not dampen Bao Fenger's enthusiasm for achieving his ideals, he gets a new script, and his friends boast about Haikou, who will invite the famous Hollywood action star Kate (Eddie Murphy) to be his male lead.

The heroine Daisy is a blonde beauty who came to Hollywood with a movie dream, and in order to realize her dream, she is ready to unspoken rules with everyone, from producer/director, to screenwriter, to camera, to the male lead's stand-in.
With such a team full of confidence and vitality, willing to give everything for the film dream, Bao Fenger could not fail, so under his leadership, the entire team, including the big star who was blinded by the concerted efforts, they finally realized their dream.
