As the saying goes, "If you want to get rich, build roads first", which shows the importance of transportation to local economic development. In recent years, Shanwei Haifeng County has undergone earth-shaking changes in the construction of the traffic road network. In the past few years, the total length of roads laid in Haifeng County has reached 1561 kilometers, and the transportation network connecting the inside and outside has been further improved, which has become the cornerstone of promoting the high-quality development of local economy and society.
At present, in addition to promoting major transportation projects such as the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway, the Shantou-Shantou high-speed railway, and the Reconstruction and Expansion Project of the Haifeng Section of the Shenhai Expressway, Shanwei Haifeng County has accelerated the upgrading of a number of trunk highways such as national and provincial highways, so as to create a modern comprehensive transportation system.
It is understood that as one of the core roads of Shanwei Haifeng County - the Third Ring Road, Haifeng County, in order to optimize the urban road system and accelerate the pace of Haifeng's livable and travel-friendly city construction, has launched an upgrading project last year, and the project's Zhonghua Peng Road Junction to Wushi Dumb Bridge has been successfully opened to traffic.
At present, Shanwei Haifeng County will continue to upgrade the section from the Haizi intersection of the Third Ring Road to the intersection of Tongma Road. The project is transformed according to the standard of urban trunk roads, with a design speed of 60km/h, a road planning red line of 50m, a road section in the form of a main and auxiliary road, a two-way eight-lane main line, and a single-lane section on the auxiliary road, with a total road length of about 2.9 kilometers.
The main construction contents of the project include: (1) demolition and new construction of the main line vehicular road surface; (2) new side green belt and auxiliary road, renovation and upgrading of intersections; (3) road lighting system on both sides, of which the green belt on both sides is installed with 11m double-arm street lights, 250w lane lights + 160w walking lights; (5) the arrangement of the separation belt in the road and the greening transformation and upgrading of both sides; (6) supporting traffic facilities and the division of traffic sign lines and other related supporting projects.
