Misuse of the word "roll" to reply to the masses who have been dismissed from their posts?

On September 12 this year, Yin Huiqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Pingshan County CPC Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of Hebei Province, replied to the masses' text messages with the word "roll", which attracted widespread attention. Recently, the joint investigation team of the Shijiazhuang Municipal CPC Committee issued a circular saying that Yin Huiqiang had been dismissed from his post and instructed the relevant departments in Pingshan County to seek truth from facts about the problems reflected by the masses and solve them in accordance with laws and regulations.

The circular confirms Yin Huiqiang's previous claim that he "mistakenly regarded the masses' help text messages as telecommunications fraud information." According to the report, after questioning the parties on both sides, the on-site comparison test and the technical verification of the relevant departments, the text message with the same actual content was presented differently on the mobile phones of Guan Cuimin and Yin Huiqiang, the former being a real-name report of more than a thousand words, and the latter being "I sent you a long text + web link.". This situation may be related to the setting of relevant technical parameters of telecom operators and mobile phone developers.

Judging from the results of the investigation, Yin Huiqiang did not deliberately treat the masses for help rudely. It is precisely for this reason that some netizens believe that in the context of national anti-fraud, officials receive suspected fraud messages, and replying to a "roll" word is beyond reproach, which should not be criticized by public opinion, and the dismissal process is also suspected of being too heavy.

In fact, officials mistakenly used the word "roll" to reply to the masses that they were dismissed from their posts. The circular made it clear that Yin Huiqiang, as a leading cadre who is a party member, replied to the information in a simple and rude way, causing a negative impact, reflecting that his ideological style was unrealistic and his self-cultivation was not enough, so he decided to admonish him and remove him from his post.

Misuse is also use, and misuse is also injury, and anyone, including leading cadres, must be responsible for their own actions, and cannot be completely exempted from responsibility because of "inadvertent transgression." For the masses, receiving a "roll" word after asking for help is very hurtful and insulting, and of course it is unacceptable. Regardless of whether Yin Huiqiang intends it or not, the "roll" reply has caused harm to the masses and caused adverse social impact, and he should bear the corresponding responsibility. Compared with the adverse effects caused by Yin Huiqiang, the treatment of exhortation and dismissal can be described as "punishment is excessive".

As a leading cadre in the frontline, Yin Huiqiang did not think, screen, or verify after receiving suspected fraud information, and replied to the information in a simple and rude way, which is precisely the manifestation of his unrealistic ideological style and insufficient self-cultivation. The words and deeds of leading cadres are not only about representing themselves, but also have a bearing on the vital interests and feelings of the people and on the image of the party and the government.

People do not cling to a "roll" word, but hope that leading cadres can be more solid and meticulous in their work, more patient and more responsible, and they must examine their own words and deeds at any time. The lessons of this incident are profound, and the parties concerned must take them as a warning.
