Article 41 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations reportedly requires diplomats to comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the countries in which they are stationed.

According to the information released by the Turkish Presidential Office, after the statement was issued, Turkish President Erdogan immediately responded and welcomed it.

On the 23rd, Erdogan said that he would instruct the Foreign Ministry to declare the ambassadors of 10 countries, including the United States, Germany, france and other countries in Turkey, as "undesirable", because the above 10 countries issued a joint statement on the 18th to interfere in Turkey's internal affairs, which for a time led to tension in Turkey's diplomatic relations with Western countries.
