Time Network News The Japanese animated film "Even If tomorrow the world ends" has released a trailer. The film was written and directed by Yuhei Sakuragi, a rising star in the field of animation.
"Even If the World Ends Tomorrow" focuses on the truth that has blocked the heart since the death of the little mother, and Qin Li, who has been guarding his side, and the green plum bamboo horse. Now in the third year of high school, just when the two were finally ready to take a step, another "me" from another Japan suddenly appeared...
Kaji Hiroki (Godzilla: Monster Planet, Attack on Titan) will voice Masaru, and Masaru Uchida (Tsutomu D New Theater Edition: Awakening) will voice Ginri. This is an original animation, judging from the trailer, taking the route of youth + love + science fiction + action.
It is worth mentioning that the way director Yuhei Sakuragi entered the public eye is very interesting. In 2015, Miyazaki encountered difficulties in creating the short film "Caterpillar Polo", and the hand-drawn way could not show the caterpillar posture he wanted. So he turned to CG for the first time, and with the help of a group of young people, he used computer CG to create the caterpillar effect he wanted. This experience reversed Miyazaki's view of computer creation.
The above story was filmed by NHK into the documentary "No Myth Miyazaki Hayao", and Yuhei Sakuragi appeared in the documentary as a member of the CG team. Although he has no lines, his serious and handsome appearance has left a deep impression on the audience. Last year, Yuhei Sakuragi directed the game adaptation of the TV anime "Ingress", which became more familiar to the public.
The film will be released in Japan on January 25th.
