Zhi Wei Story: Strange Worm

It is said that When Emperor Liu Che of the Han Dynasty and his ministers passed through Ganquan County, somehow, the entire travel procession suddenly stopped walking.

Emperor Wu of Han then sent someone to ask what was happening ahead.

It turned out that in the middle of the road ahead, a strange bug jumped out: the whole body was blood red, the head looked like a human face, the teeth, ears and nose were all there, and the face was vicious and scary.

Everyone didn't know what kind of bug this was, and they didn't dare to act rashly.

Emperor Wu of Han remembered that Dongfang Shuo was well-informed, so he sent Dongfang Shuo to inspect it.

After a while, Dongfang Shuo returned and said, "The name of this insect is [Strange Ya], and it is haunted." In the past, it often appeared to prey on innocent people, and people resented and hated it, but there was no way to take it, so they could only look up and sigh: 'Strange, strange, strange! I think it was probably generated by the condensation of resentment, so it was called "Weird.". This place must have been the former prison site of the Qin Dynasty. ”

So Dongfang Shuo immediately looked for a map, and it was true.

Emperor Wudi of Han asked, "How can we get rid of this insect?" ”

Dongfang Shuo replied, "Whoever is sad, after drinking wine, can relieve his worries and forget his troubles." Therefore, this strange insect should be soaked in wine to be destroyed. ”

So Emperor Wudi of Han sent someone to catch the insects and carefully place them in the wine. Sure enough, after a while, the bug was completely dissolved.
