"For protective reasons, even if we wear masks, we generally rarely talk when we pick up and drop off medical staff, open windows to keep air circulating, and disinfect every time a medical staff is picked up." Gao Wei said that the company has made sufficient protective measures for the volunteers, and will prepare corresponding protective clothing, masks, gloves, etc., and she is not particularly worried about the risk of infection.

"I didn't let them know at first." Gao Wei said that although she and her parents were in the same neighborhood, they did not live together, and in the first few days, when her parents asked Gao Wei to go to dinner, she made excuses to push them away and quietly isolated herself. Until one day, her mother came to her house to find her, but found that there was no one in the house, and in desperation, she told her mother the truth, but fortunately she got her parents' understanding.
At seven o'clock in the morning of January 26, Gao Wei had just sent two nurses to work, and at nine o'clock he would pick up a medical staff. With an hour between, she decided to look around to see if there were any paramedics needing to be picked up if she went home, changing clothes and disinfecting.
"It just so happened that a new list in the group was quite close to me, so I answered it, and after the phone was dialed, it turned out to be my middle school classmate, who is now doing administrative work in a hospital." Gao Wei later learned that medical supplies in many hospitals at that time were very scarce, and nurses in non-isolation wards also needed to take care of fever patients, but because of insufficient protective clothing, they could only be used repeatedly.

The actual shipping process was very tortuous. On the one hand, Wuhan traffic is strictly managed, vehicle access needs to apply for a pass, all vehicles on the highway need to accept a very detailed inventory, basically take 20 or 30 minutes; on the other hand, along the way, the provincial highways, urban areas everywhere to block the road, every other section set up an inventory point, each checkpoint also needs to be registered and inspected, and communication with the corresponding staff, it takes a lot of time.
"We weren't familiar with the route, and the information provided by the navigation wasn't accurate enough, so we went back three or four times." Fortunately, there was no danger in the end, at 10:30 p.m. that night, Gao Wei arrived at the Hanchuan pickup point to get the scarce protective clothing, and the next day at 1:40 a.m. the batch of materials was transported to the company's deployment office, and it was more than two o'clock when he arrived home, which lasted 10 hours.
