The source is the root of the orchid family Longiper orchid. Dig up roots in autumn, wash and dry or use fresh.
It is an annual herb in its original form, 45 to 120 cm tall. There are 2 roots, narrow spindle shape. The leaves are alternate, overlaid directly under the flowers; the leaves are lanceolate, 7 to 10 cm long and 1.5 to 3 cm wide, the apex is long and tapering, the base is broadly wedge-shaped, sheathed, holding the stem, parallel veins near the ribs, and both sides are slightly covered with ancestral hairs. The inflorescence has 3 to 5 flowers; the bracts are leafy; the flowers are large and white; the sepals are broadly ovate, broadly spread, blunt, slightly oblique on the sides; the petals are linear, shorter than the calyx, the lip lobes are not longer than the sepals, the lateral lobes are extremely broad, the grate-like fine lobes are several up to the middle, the middle lobes are rounded and linear, the full margins, about 2 cm long; the distance is 6 to 10 cm. The pillar is broader, and the lower end of the ovary is thin and stalk-shaped. Flowering occurs in summer.
The habitat segment grows on hillsides and in wet grasses. Distributed in Yunnan, Guangxi, Guangdong and other places.
The sexual taste is slightly warm and sweet.
Functional indications for the treatment of warm kidney aphrodisiac.
Compound (1) treatment of kidney deficiency and low back pain, impotence, sperm retention, slippery sperm: (1) rabbit ear grass five dollars (five pairs), chicken kidney ginseng five dollars (five pairs), Goat weed two dollars. At the end of the study, add an appropriate amount of lard and brown sugar to steam. (Avoid salt) (2) Rabbit ear grass five dollars, Epimedium and Xianmao three dollars each. Soak in wine serving. (3) Three dollars for bone fat, five dollars for rabbit ear grass, five dollars for goji berries, and a pair of pork loins (tendon removal). The first three flavors are roasted and minced, steamed pork loin and eaten.
(2) Cure cold hernia: rabbit ear grass five dollars (six to ten pairs), small fruit on the upper leaves three dollars, vegetarian pearl fruit root three dollars.
