The teaching field gate on the south side of the middle section of Lianhu Road carries the history of Xi'an City, which has witnessed the changes of history.
The teaching field gate belongs to the east-west direction, starting from the intersection of Hongbu Street and North Guangji Street in the east, and ending at the south entrance of Laowu Lane in the west. It is 325 meters long and intersects 6 north-south streets.
The name of the teaching field gate comes from the big teaching field located here, which was a military training ground in the Ming Dynasty, and after Li Zicheng established the Dashun regime in Xi'an in the late Ming Dynasty, he used to review the army here, and in the Qing Dynasty, it became the "Fubiao Teaching Field" of the Green Camp Army.
There was once a very legendary Sui locust at the south entrance of North Teaching Field Lane. This ancient locust is recorded in the historical records of the past, this large locust tree is the origin of the birth of Xi'an City, but unfortunately it was cut down during the Republic of China.
The westernmost part of the teaching field gate is the Lianhu District Community Education College, which is organizing enrollment these two days, and there are many people coming and going. At the fence next to the road, construction is underway.
