Chairman Mao was angry with the Soviet leaders: We will build factories ourselves; we want people, we have laws and regulations

For a period after the founding of New China, the relationship between China and the Soviet Union was very close, and it was called the "honeymoon" period in the history of Sino-Soviet relations.

On October 3, 1949, China and the Soviet Union formally established diplomatic relations, and the Soviet Union became the first country in the world to recognize the People's Republic of China.

After that, Chairman Mao personally led the Chinese party and government delegation, successfully visited the Soviet Union, and signed the Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship, Alliance, and Mutual Assistance.

Even so, Chairman Mao and the Party Central Committee absolutely did not allow the Communist Party of the Soviet Union to be above the Communist Party of China. Chairman Mao has always been unaccustomed to it, and wisely resisted the "bad" behavior of the CPSU in presenting itself as a "Lao Tzu Party", commanding and arbitrary behavior.

Next, I will talk to you about how Chairman Mao outwitted soviet leaders Stalin and Khrushchev.

Stalin, there is nothing to do.

One day in the early 1950s, Stalin, who was sitting in the Kremlin, suddenly thought of a fruit and had an idea to build a pineapple canning factory. He then argued that such factories were not suitable for construction in the Soviet Union, preferably in China.

So Stalin turned his seat, raised his eyebrows, tilted his head, and proudly said to the secretary next to him: Send a telegram to the Chinese, saying that I hope they will come up with a piece of land and let us build a pineapple canning factory.

After the order was given, Stalin was immersed in the reverie of owning a pineapple cannery in a foreign country belonging to the Soviet Union.

Stalin took it for granted that as soon as he gave the order, Chinese would immediately comply with it, and quickly asked him for the location of the factory and even the specific plan!

Two days later, the Soviets received a call back from Chinese. Chinese's speed of return was satisfactory to Stalin, but the contents of the telegram greatly surprised the Soviet leaders.

In the callback, Chairman Mao said to the Soviets: Since you are interested in canned pineapples, we can accept your proposal!

If it is not convenient for you to build a factory on your own territory, you can provide us with a loan to build a Chinese pineapple canning factory on our own.

At that time, we will use the pineapple cans produced in this factory to gradually repay the loan you have given us.

Such a reply was something that Stalin, the ruler of the Soviet Union, never expected -- Chinese did not even obey his "orders"! Stalin was greatly annoyed and very dissatisfied, but there was nothing he could do!

Because, Chinese did not refuse. But pineapple canneries had to be built by themselves, with soviet loans.

Superficial acceptance, in fact rejection; or conditional acceptance, did not completely disgrace Stalin. But you must not play our sovereign calculations!

Chairman Mao's reply, which is "soft in the middle of a hard," undermined the "dignity" that Stalin had imposed on man by "pointing fingers and feet," and he was naturally not pleased. However, we cannot give up our own sovereignty and interests in order to make him happy!

Khrushchev, I had no choice but to give up.

In 1959, soviet supreme leader Nikita Khrushchev traveled to the United States to hold talks with U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower at Camp David. Later, Khrushchev came to Beijing, where Chairman Mao received him.

During the talks, Khrushchev asked China to release eight airborne agents from the United States. These agents were captured by our security personnel in the northeast during and after the Korean War.

After speaking for the Americans, Khrushchev also stressed: These people must be released! Because, at the time of the Camp David talks, after US President Dwight Eisenhower proposed it, I believed that you would be able to do it, so I already said yes.

Chairman Mao listened and was very disgusted by Khrushchev's "cutting first and playing later." The tense situation in Sino-US relations is clear to you Khrushchev. The wanton interference and aggressiveness of the United States on the Taiwan issue are what the Chinese people do not want to see.

At the same time, Chairman Mao's mind came up with some "ditches, ditches, and bumps" between China and the Soviet Union. In recent years, the contradictions between China and the Soviet Union have become more and more prominent, and the disharmony in relations between the two sides has become an indisputable fact.

In November 1957, when Chairman Mao led a delegation of Chinese party and government to Moscow to participate in the celebration of the fortieth anniversary of the October Revolution, Khrushchev proposed to Chairman Mao that Soviet experts who were ready to withdraw their assistance to China were due to the needs of the Soviet Union's own construction.

At that time, due to some differences in political views between the two sides, Chairman Mao did not engage in senseless struggle, but only calmly replied: This is good! Not only can it solve the difficulties of the Soviet Union, but China can also do its own thing better!

In 1958, Khrushchev visited China. During the talks, he called for a joint fleet and a long-wave radio station in China. Chairman Mao immediately and categorically rejected Khrushchev's wishful "delusions."

Chairman Mao believes that the Soviet Union is engaged in colonialism in disguise and wants to steal our country's intelligence! Afterwards, he also said to eugene, the Soviet ambassador to China: We support the Soviet Union, but the wrong things do not support!

At this time, Chairman Mao's thoughts jumped out of the past and returned to reality. Today, Soviet experts are still in China, and China really needs Soviet technical assistance.

For this reason, we must not condone Khrushchev's "ignorance and fearlessness," unbridled arrogance, nor can we be too "reckless."

So Chairman Mao said frankly and decisively to Khrushchev: This is very difficult to do, you know, China has its own laws.

The implication is that the Soviet Union has the rules of the Soviet Union, the United States has the requirements of the United States, and China has its own laws. Each has its own "bitterness", and we must understand and respect each other!

After Chairman Mao's words came out, although Khrushchev was "reckless," he was not stupid, and naturally understood the connotation of Chairman Mao's words, so he had no choice but to give up!

Chairman Mao, like this, used his wisdom and patriotic feelings to safeguard the rights and interests of the People's Republic of China at all times and always resisted all evil deeds that wanted to plot against the Chinese people!
