On March 17, a reporter from the Liaocheng Evening News saw the newly released copy of the "Annotations on Yang's Poetry of Haiyuan Pavilion" at Liaocheng University, and found that the book focused on the poems of Yang Yizeng, Yang Shaohe and Yang Baoyi. The first part of the book is the work of Yang Jingfu editor Yang Yizeng and other three generations of Haiyuan Pavilion masters, and is presented in the form of "Retreating Silu Wencun", "Yijin Guantang Poetry Copy", and "Gui Zhen Zhai Poetry Copy"; the following poems are collected and sorted by Ding Yanfeng and Zhou Guangqian from the collection of materials, and displayed in the form of "Anzuo". At the end of the book, there are also biographical materials and epitaphs of the Yang family of Haiyuan Pavilion, according to which we can understand the life experiences of the three bibliophiles of Haiyuan Pavilion.

"At present, the Haiyuange Yang Poetry Annotations are the most complete collection of Yang poetry." Zhou Guangqian was interviewed by reporters

Zhou Guangqian said that the publication of this book marks a new progress in the study of Yang's Haiyuan Pavilion. Previous research on Haiyuange has focused on the Haiyuange collection, mainly involving the catalogue of editions, circulation, and collection value of the collection, while the study of the life of generations of the Yang family is relatively weak. This book is precisely a collation and supplement to the poems of Yang Yizeng, Yang Shaohe and Yang Baoyi, which comprehensively and deeply reflects the life fragments, hobbies and ideological tendencies of the owners of Haiyuan Pavilion, and is the first-hand material for the study of Haiyuan Pavilion bibliophiles.

The poetry of the three generations of the Young family has its own characteristics

Fragments of friendship life are all in it

Judging from the poems that have survived the three generations of the Yang family, their contents have their own outstanding characteristics. Yang Yizeng's works are mainly prose, and the Haiyuange Yang's Poetry Annotations include 55 articles by Yang Yizeng, while Yang Shaohe and Yang Baoyi's works are mainly poetry, and the duo's poems reach 150.

Yang's experience of increasing the collection and engraving of books and his views on scholars and their works often passed on to future generations by writing "prefaces" and "trekking". In Yang Yizeng's article, it is enough to see his love for books and his unique insight into scholars' writings. In particular, Yang Yizeng had close contacts with many scholars, and he also liked to fund the publication of the works of scholars and friends, and to write "prefaces" and "treks" for them. These "prefaces" and "treks" highlight Yang's views on elevating the heights, and the evaluation of the gains and losses of the works can also point out the key points. From the preface written by Yang Yi, it can be clearly seen that his academic thinking, the spirit of governance, and his love of books can be clearly seen. At the same time, Yang Yizeng wrote more biographical articles for his friends, especially the biographies written for several elders of the Fu family of the Wang clan in Liaocheng. The Yang family was closely related to the Fu family, Yang Yizeng and Fu Shengxun were relatives, and his daughter-in-law was Fu Shengxun's daughter. Yang Yizeng wrote "Re-repairing the Preface to the Fu Family Genealogy" and "Fu Gongying Chen's Family Biography", which were included in the "Notes on the Poetry of the Yang Clan of Haiyuan Pavilion". The "Biography of Fu Mu Zhu Gong's Family" is included in the "Yang Yi Zengzuo" in the "Annotations on Yang's Poetry in Haiyuan Pavilion". The book also contains a large number of letters he wrote to his friends, reflecting precious fragments of his interactions with friends.

Yang Shaohe's Yijin Guantang Poetry Transcription contains 85 poems, plus 15 Yang Shaohe works collected by Ding Yanfeng and Zhou Guangqian, and his works amount to more than 100. "Yang Shaohe has done cabinet secretaries and is very talented. Yang Yizeng and Lin Zexu were officials in Hubei in their early years, and Yang Shaohe was praised by Lin Zexu because of his unusual intelligence when he was a child. Yang Shaohe's poems record his life perceptions and fragments of life, often reflecting his state of mind through small things. Zhou Guangqian said. Yang Shaohe has more poems recalling people and events, some recalling his father Yang Yizeng, and some recalling teachers and friends. He specifically recalled Yang Yizeng in "Four Songs of Sentiment": "Thin cold and light warmth in the early spring, relying on the east wind alone to think quietly..." It is very charming. In addition, Yang Shaohe's poems record scenes of personal travel and play with friends, and there are also silhouettes of talking freely with friends, and his bitterness and joy are all between the lines, showing his rich thoughts and sensitive heart.

Yang Baoyi's poetry also has a more distinctive feature. He served in the Prime Minister's Office and had a profound understanding of the international situation. His poems reveal a deep sigh of emotion for the turbulence of the times, and a concern for the fate of the country before and after the signing of the Treaty of Xinugi and the sorrow and bitterness. At the same time, his poems also write about his daily life, among which the poems written to his wife Wang Shaoshan are full of affection. After he resigned, he retired to Taonan Mountain Villa in Feicheng, and re-repaired the Mei garden, writing a very beautiful "Mei Garden Record", reflecting his free and relaxed life after retreat.

The poetry annotations annotate the people and events in the text

Reflects the ideological experience of three generations of the Yang family

Zhou Guangqian said that the collation of the "Annotations on the Poetry of Yang's Poetry in HaiyuanGe" began in 2017, and each article had to be sorted out from the Qing Dynasty engravings and manuscripts, and read with sentences, and at the same time, the characters, famous objects, and systems in the poems were commented in detail. In particular, there are many words and sentences in Yang's poems that describe their life experiences, and there are many related contents, and it is also necessary to annotate the background information involved in the people and events in the text. For example, Yang Shaohe wrote some reminiscent poems, which on the surface seem to be a sentence, but in fact, there are many things hidden behind it. For example, he wrote in "Nostalgia Tour": "Grape wine ancient Liangzhou, four degrees of Xiaoguan horse tour." "It involves Yang Yizeng's experience as an envoy to Gansu, the inspector of Shaanxi and the acting governor of Shaanxi and Gansu, and the eunuch who handled the affairs of Gansu grain and Taiwan. The content implied in these sentences, the Haiyuange Yang's Poetry Proofreading Notes, has made annotations using a large amount of information. "The annotations are more detailed, which is a feature of the HaiyuanGe Yang's Poetry Proofreading." Zhou Guangqian said that through such proofreading, ordinary readers can understand one, and the other can understand the thoughts and experiences of the three generations of the Yang family.

Haiyuan Pavilion is one of the four famous private library buildings in the late Qing Dynasty of China, and its influence is great. The book collection experience of the three generations of the Yang family is a microcosm of modern history and changes in the times, and the culture of haiyuan pavilion books is fully reflected in the poetry collections of the three generations of the Yang family. The Annotations on the Poetry of the Yang Clan of Haiyuan Pavilion focus on the study of the Yang Family. Through this book, you can understand the personality and interests of the founder and guardian of Haiyuan Pavilion, so as to study Haiyuan Pavilion in more depth. "I don't know the Yang family style and personality, and studying Haiyuan Pavilion is a bit of a 'castle in the air'. If you don't know about book collectors, it is difficult to study their books. Zhou Guangqian said.

"To study Haiyuan Pavilion, we must look at Haiyuan Pavilion in the context of Traditional Chinese Book Collection Culture. Sorting out the poems of the three generations of Haiyuan Pavilion masters is an important way to preserve the materials of Haiyuan Pavilion, and it also has a positive effect on preserving China's excellent traditional culture. Reading Yang's poetry works can enable more Liaocheng people to understand Haiyuan Pavilion, pay attention to Haiyuan Pavilion, love Haiyuan Pavilion, and be proud of Haiyuan Pavilion, and the influence of Liaocheng traditional culture will continue to be improved. Talking about the significance of the publication of the "Annotations on the Poetry of Yang Clan of Haiyuan Pavilion", Zhou Guangqian said so.
