Kenzo Nakajima (1903-1979) Japanese friendly social activist and Japanese critic. Born in Tokyo. During his studies at Tokyo Imperial University, he founded the journal French Literature Studies and stayed on to work after graduation. In 1934, he published the collection of commentaries, Doubt and Symbolism. In 1936, he published "On Modern Literature and Art". In 1941, he published "On Modern Writers". He served in Singapore in 1942. After World War II, he actively participated in cultural and social activities, led the reconstruction of the Japan Literary and Artistic Association and the Japan Pen Association, and founded the Japan Comparative Literature Society and the Copyright Association.
