NoB Chengdu was more urban than I thought it would be, and I was shocked. I was a little surprised because I had always thought that Chengdu should have a lot of ancient buildings, but in fact it was very urban.

NoB had a hot pot yesterday and it was very spicy.
- Is it okay for you to eat spicy food?
NoB Actually, I really like to eat spicy. But today, because I was going to perform on stage, I was a little bit more controlled.
- Can you talk about your chances of becoming a singer and some of the things you did about your debut?
NoB, this has been a long time ago. When I was in the fifth grade of elementary school, I was about 10 or 11 years old, and I started playing guitar at that time, and I started singing as I played the guitar, and I probably started singing, I wanted to form a band, and after forming a band, I had a little bit of business acumen, and I debuted under the name of the band MAKE-UP.
Mr. NoB's band generally plays hard rock music, and also has an active performance in close-up and animation music, so in your opinion, what is special about close-up and animation music compared to other styles of music?
NoB, on the other hand, said that hard rock, which is often played, is used more often in anime songs, and according to the needs of some animations, it has become a matter of course when arranging music. Therefore, I don't think there is any difference in this aspect, but it is very ordinary.
——MAKE-UP sang the theme song and interlude for the animation "Saint Seiya", of course, it is also very popular in China, so for Mr. NoB, what are the memories of "Saint Seiya"?
NoB's memories of Saint Seiya. Before I first sang for Saint Seiya, I had already read the original manga on "Shonen Jump", and when I received the offer, all I had in mind was "Eh, do you want to use a rock band to sing the theme song of the anime?" ", and MAKE-UP disbanded about a year after the singing, so I didn't expect to enter the world of anime songs in this way, and this song is very popular, and as you just said, it is also very popular in China, and it has received a lot of praise all over the world. Because I was only reading the manga and knew about the original, I realized that Saint Seiya had a powerful impact on the whole world.
——So as a senior in the animation song industry, Mr. NoB has been singing animation songs for so many years, and presumably he has always remembered the changes in the style of animation songs in recent years.
NoB, for example, voice actor singing has become a matter of course, I can sing but can't voice, and I am in a completely different world. There are also some songs whose lyrics are completely unrelated to animation as theme songs, which are also possible now. Sometimes I think that this is probably a different style from ours.
It's almost 2016, what are your outlook for next year and the areas you want to challenge?
NoB actually has no prospects or challenges, after all, it has been singing for 32 years, but last year its own band DAIDA LAIDA toured all over the world, and next year I want to continue to sing as much as I can.
——What are the ideas for the stage of today's iQIYI Carnival?
NoB has performed in Hong Kong before, but it is the first time in the Chinese mainland, and I am very much looking forward to how the audience will react, to be honest, I am a little nervous, worried about whether the audience can get up with me. This is a two-day performance, after singing today, I think the audience in Chengdu is very good, and then I have the opportunity to come back to Chengdu.
