To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Shanghai Oriental Art Center actively planned a series of red exhibitions and performances to play art praises in Pudong, a hot land of reform.
As early as March to May, red operas such as "Wise Tiger Mountain", "Rhododendron Mountain", "Sister Jiang", "Secret No. 1", and "Honghu Red Guard" have been listed on the "Oriental Famous Drama Month". From June to August, Dongyi's "Dongfang Hong" will usher in a new climax, with 36 red performances and 45 performances such as 16 red theme concerts, 12 party celebrations, and 6 children's programs.
During the period, Shanghai Literary and Art Groups such as Shanghai Light Music Troupe, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Opera House Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Xiaoyingxing Choir and other Shanghai literary and art groups gathered in Dongyi to focus on red culture and inherit the red spirit.
In mid-June, the Shanghai Light Music Troupe staged the "Pursuit" theme concert here, newly created and adapted 24 classic songs and instrumental songs such as "Shandan Danhua Blossoms Red and Colorful", and the 84-year-old singer Zhu Fengbo also came to the scene in particular, and presented a women's trio "My Motherland" with Qian Huiping and Ding Yifan, so that the older generation of music fans could directly enjoy it.
As July 1 approached, the red sentiment intensified.
From June 29th to 30th, the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra will bring two "Red Feelings" concerts, performing the caprice "Bethune in Jinchaji", the string ensemble "Sacrifice", the violin and cello double concerto "Shikumen Caprice", the symphony "Red Feelings", the symphony "Ode to a Hundred Years" and other five new works, while playing the "Sixth Symphony "Road Song" adapted by Lu Pei, and Lu Qiming's classic "Ode to the Red Flag" will also be grandly staged.

From June 30th to July 7th, Dongyi's self-produced drama "The Right Way in the World is Vicissitudes" will open the performance and start a tour of 56 performances in 30 cities across the country. The play shows the different life veins of the Yang brothers and sisters between the Great Revolution in 1925 and the founding of New China in 1949, integrating personal destiny and national destiny. The drama lasted for three years from the establishment of the project to the official creation, and the main creative team was composed of the original Jiang Qitao, the screenwriter Yao Yuan, the director Hu Zongqi, etc., and Zhang Zhijian, Zhang Tong, Zeng Li and other leading actors.
On August 1, the day of the Founding Day, 82-year-old singer Li Shuangjiang will hold hands with his friends - tenor Chi Liming, baritone Qu Bo, soprano Han Zhiping, soprano Han Yanwen and soprano Cui Zhengrong , to perform the "Red Star Shines on Me to Fight" concert. This concert is mainly based on military songs and red songs, And Li Shuangjiang is not old, and will sing "Red Star Shines on Me to Fight", "Return from Shooting Targets", and "There is no strong motherland where there is a happy home".

From August 20th to 21st, Chengdu Arts Theater's dance drama "Effort Meal" will also come to Shanghai. Based on the revolutionary martyr Che Yaoxian, the drama tells the story of the underground workers of our Party in the 1930s who used the hard work of the dining house as a cover to negotiate with the enemy and carry out intelligence struggles. It once took the "Lotus Award" into its pockets, incorporating strong Tianfu cultural symbols such as Sichuan cuisine, face changing, Sichuan opera gong and drum soundtrack, and the lively Sichuan flavor rap takes you into the drama for a second.
