Original title: Three generations of composers present five new works The Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra's "Red Feelings" series was staged at the end of the month
Xinmin Evening News (reporter Zhu Yuan) The Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra will bring two concerts of classic works to the Oriental Art Center on June 29 and 30, ending the "Red Feelings" series of performances.
In these two concerts, the Shanghai Philharmonic will once again present five new creations from five ministries, including Lu Qiming's caprice "Bethune in Jinchaji" string ensemble "Sacrifice", Xu Jingxin's vocal suite "Eternal Monument", Zhao Guang's violin and cello double concerto "Shikumen Capriccio", Liu Junhao's symphony "Red Feelings" and Gong Tianpeng's symphony "Ode to 100 Years".
In order to express his absolute sincerity to the party, Lü Qiming, who was in his back, was full of thoughts and pens, and presented two works, the capriccio "Bethune in Jinchaji" and the string ensemble "Sacrifice". Looking back on the 70 years of creative process, Lu Qiming said that he has only done one of the most important things in his life: "That is, practicing the oath and commitment of joining the party, inheriting the red gene, and using music to praise the party, praise the motherland, praise the people, and praise the great victory of the Chinese revolution." ”
Xu Jingxin, a composer who grew up with New China, believes that only by "grounding" can his works be "spread". Composer Zhao Guang regards the unique charm and culture of The city of Shanghai as his most important theme. Composer Liu Junhao's symphony "Red Feelings" describes his growth from wearing a red scarf and looking up at the raising of the national flag to taking an oath in front of the party flag.
At the concert, the sixth symphony "The Song of the Great Road", adapted by composer Lu Pei, will also be staged. "The Great Road Song" is the theme song composed by Nie Er for the film "The Great Road" in 1934. 87 years on, this classic is once again breathing new.
The performance on the 30th will end with the classic "Ode to the Red Flag" by "Old Leader" Lu Qiming.
