Commentary on the publication of the book review text (8) - Bao Gong commentary

Bao Gong, in the northern commentary, is also known as the three heroes and five righteousness, the dragon map chivalrous righteousness, etc., while the southern commentary is also known as the seven heroes and five righteousness. As for the "three heroes" or "seven heroes", there is a division between qualified and unqualified.

The main trunk of the commentary on the book bag and its sequels is the three parts of the Great Five Righteousness, the Small Five Righteousness, and the Continuation of the Small Five Righteousness, the above books are mainly derived from the ancient texts, each of which is generally similar, and the continuations are all newly compiled books, which are very different.

The book is mainly composed of two axes, one is the public case, the other is chivalry: the public case is more concentrated in the early experience of Bao Gong, such as the period from birth to the appointment of Dingyuan County, and the early stage of the second inauguration to Kaifeng Province, the arrangement for the change of the tanuki cat for the prince has before and after, and at the latest can be returned to ChenZhou three times to release grain; chivalry is mainly concentrated in the middle and late period, in fact, the early Zhan Zhao appeared, but the real drama was to start from the five rats in Tokyo, and then the main trunk of the story became a counter-rebellion in Xiangyang, and a large number of jianghu enmity was inserted between them, which was already a pure short way of fighting chivalry.

It can be seen from the collation that although the storytellers are mostly public cases and chivalrous miscellaneous lectures, there are also those who specialize in public cases or chivalrous (more obvious in later sequels).

Comments

Southern commentators generally divide the story of Bao Gong into two large books: one Bao Gong, which talks about Kaifeng Fu and Di Qing Five Tigers Pingxi, Gong Case/Robe Belt Road; and one Seven Heroes and Five Righteousness, about five rats until the breaking of Xiangyang, Chivalrous Road. The most accomplished of the various books is the Suzhou Commentary.

Su commented on Bao Gong, including two different clues before and after

With the package publicly sealed as the core

Including the selection of Fu Yin, Chen Zhou's grain release, Tanuki cat for prince and other plots, the main texts are:

As for the Seven Heroes and Five Righteousnesses of Su Ping, most of the book paths can be covered by Jin Shengbo's "White Jade Hall", but the part after Bai Yutang's death is not involved. According to the material, the seven heroes of the Su review have a total of nearly one million words, and Jin's two books have 750,000 words, considering the necessary deletions in text processing, at least we should be able to see 80% of the original content, compared to other large books, it is already the highest text preservation rate. Nevertheless, several other selections are also worth reading, all from the separate arrangement of the performance book, some of which are richer in detail than the whole book. Xu Jianheng is the master of Jin Shengbo, the most original; and Hu Tianru's "Flower Temple" versions are not even the same, and it is also interesting to read by reference. The published text is as follows

"White Jade Hall", dictated by Jin Shengbo and arranged by Jin Shaobo, divided into two volumes, Beiyue Literature and Art Publishing House, August 1988, print volume 150,000, word count 751,000 (from the Second Hero Tour to the West Lake to the Shipwrecked Copper Net Array, there is a hardcover version)
