What I want to share with you in this issue is a late-night Japanese drama broadcast in 2012 - "Eight Scenes of the Family".

Part 1 Synopsis
The heroine, Hoda Nanase, is a young maid who is only 20 years old. The reason for choosing the profession of domestic helper is to stay away from society and avoid staying in one place for a long time. Because she has had the super ability to read minds since she was a child, once it is detected, it will cause a lot of unnecessary trouble.
Nanase worked in various families, met all kinds of masters, and spied on various strange human natures, this time her new employer was the tail family.
There are four members of the Ogata family, including husband Hisaku, wife Takako, daughter Ryoko, and son Junichi. When Nanase peeks into the hearts of others, families with different characteristics will take on their own representative alienated images in Nanase's eyes.
Since the Ogata family of four, except for Mrs. Misaki, the other three have been thinking about color all day, so in Nanase's eyes they are the "naked family".
The morally upright father cheats and recalls the intimate scenes with his lover from time to time; pretends to be a well-behaved daughter who returns late, just to mess with her boyfriend; the weak and narcissistic son secretly cheats with his father's lover; and the insensitive mother, full of "chicken and dog pieces" chores, turns a blind eye to the dirty things in the family... Relatives are happy and harmonious on the surface, but in their hearts they hate each other. Nanase thinks that such a family is too bad, and may as well let her, an outsider, uncover each other's fig leaf.
At the dinner table where the whole family gathers, Nanase deliberately reveals that Junichi is calling "Setsuko" when he speaks in his dreams, which is the name of The People of Hisagi.
Love is a light, and the green country is panicked, but he does not dare to ask Junyi, for fear of forcing his son to be repulsed; and Runichi actually does not dare to rebel against his father, and can only scold Nanase in his heart for being a woman with a long tongue.
Seeing that the parties pretended to be confused, Nanase continued to expose the news, only to see that the old father was full of question marks, and the son was lying on his face, bad and bad, it was not good to be a thief; it was foolish to make a fool of himself, and if there was nothing to do, he forced a fake smile.
Under the whitewash of the whole family, Nanase's divisive plan fails, but Junichi will not let go of the "traitor" who betrayed him. So that night, Junichi stole his mother's money and planted it for Nanase.
But to Nanase's surprise, Lady Misaki did not immediately dismiss her, but found her a home three days later. All along, Misaki's brain has been occupied by chai rice oil and salt, when did she arrange the back road for Nanase?
Nanase couldn't read the answer from Misaki's numb thoughts, but saw a line of tears slowly falling from the other person's face. Are those trivial chores a shield for Misaki to cover up his heart? Does Misaki also have some kind of telepathic power? Nanase tried to evoke a chord with Misaki's thoughts, but in vain.
"This home is really worrying..." Finally, Misaki pretended to complain easily, and left the room with a mesmerizing smile on her lips. Nanase understands that Ogata's hypocritical and warm family stage play will continue to be performed, and she will have to move to the next working environment, the Kiryu family.
In Nanase's eyes, the Kiryu family is a family of "a hundred flowers blooming and a wonderful blossom". The male protagonist, Katsumi, retired two years ago, and he became the object of the family's dislike for doing nothing. Although Katsumi is the head of the family, she has no dignity, and endures the sneers of her children during the day; at night, she wants to exchange feelings with her wife Teruko "deeply", and is scolded as an old disrespect and kicked out of the door.
All of this malice, which was only directed at Katsumi, was all seen by Nanase, and with pity, she could not help but euphemistically comfort Katsumi. But it was this little bit of kindness that brought a senseless disaster to Nanase.
Katsumi sees Nanase as a tender peach, and he vainly attempts to revive his spirit by possessing his young flesh. So he decided to attack Nanase at night while his children were traveling. Of course, all of Katsumi's mental activities could not conceal Nanase's mind-reading technique.
Planned that night, while Teruko was asleep, Katsumi ran to the maid's room to directly break the door violently, and without saying a word, she was going to take a hard bow. In a critical moment, Nanase can only use her superpowers to save herself: she interprets the real-time thoughts of the other party's hearts in a "simultaneous interpretation", which reminds Katsumi of the legendary mind-reading youkai.
Under the mental disturbance of Nanase, Katsumi, who was already nervous, was finally frightened and collapsed. The noise downstairs woke up Teruko, but strangely, she did not ask her husband the reason for his madness, nor did she dislike and scold as before, but instead happily comforted the deranged Katsumi.
This wave of confused behavior, see Nanase is also a face WTF? However, at this point, the Kiryu family can't stay any longer, so please be prepared, what awaits Nanase will be a more challenging "Beast House".
Well, that's the main plot of Episodes 1-2 of Eight Scenes of the Family. The director of the play, Yukihiko Teo, is a bit strong, and he casually flipped through his masterpieces on the Douban, and the average score is almost 8.0 or more, and as far as I am personally familiar, there are two divine dramas" and "Kaneda Ichi shonen event book" and "Trap".
The screenwriter and original author, Yasutaka Tsutsui, is also famous, with an IQ of 178, he was regarded as a genius teenager from childhood, and when he grew up, he became a famous Japanese science fiction writer. "The Girl Who Traveled Through Time", "All Sunken Outside Japan", and "Red Hot Chili Peppers" are familiar works from his pen.
The two masters join forces to show us the ordinary evils that permeate everyday life and the choices ordinary people make in the process of countering them through the omniscient perspective of the heroine Nanase. Each episode of the show is based on a family unit, telling a complete story, and the plot seems simple but informative. Next, let's compare the original book and interpret it one by one.
Part2 Interpretation of the original book
In the first episode, the windless zone, this title is just in line with the living state of the Oshiage family - the whole family is obviously pregnant with a ghost fetus, but they try to maintain the apparent calm of the wind and waves. From this story, we see the rupture of the relationship between husband and wife, the collapse of the parent-child relationship, and the imbalance of the family relationship.
In the original book, when Nanase explores the structure of Lady Miso's consciousness, he finds that the other party is clearly avoiding something through daily trivialities. As mentally weak middle-class women age, they become accustomed to the reality of being ignored. Knowing that one is despised on the one hand, and trying to forget this on the other hand, this structure of consciousness is bound to arise.
And this kind of escape psychology of Misaki is caused by the rupture of the relationship between husband and wife. Her husband, Kukuni, had no affection for her, like a domestic animal, not even contemptuously; an undisspected mother was naturally labeled as stupid in the eyes of her children. Over time, Misaki will show a negative attitude of "it is better to be ignored than to be scorned".
At the end of the first episode, Kiriko bursts into tears under Nanase's spiritual interrogation, a detail not found in the original book. Does Misaki also have "telepathic powers"? The already confusing question in this book was opened up by the director with a tear to open up a larger imagination. The answer is a matter of opinion, you may wish to leave a message to discuss.
Let's talk about parent-child relationship. Is Jiuguo's anger at the late return of his daughter Ruizi out of concern? Of course not. Jiu Guo had already guessed that his daughter was going to fool around with her boyfriend, and he was just trying to continue to play the role of a loving father on the family stage, so he forced a smile to listen to his daughter's lame excuses, and then hypocritically said a few words to show the majesty of the parents.
In fact, at that time, Kukuni even went downhill, overlapping the image of the widow and the lover. He used his brain to make up the details of the entanglement with his boyfriend, while scorning his daughter's fornication, he felt extremely excited.
On the other hand, from his father's obscene smile, he seems to be able to guess the dirty association of the other party, so he hates and hates his father even more. But in order to maintain a superficial peace, she had to play the role of a naughty daughter, pretending to apologize frankly, and waiting for the opportunity to grab her father's handle and taunt revenge.
Coincidentally, the relationship between Jiuguo and Junyi father and son is also very strange. Kukuni has an irrepressible fear of young people because he is accustomed to the rebellion of young employees in the company against their superiors. So even if he knows that his son has greened himself, he can only choose to forgive. In fact, what Jiuguo feared was not Junichi's rebellion, but the risk of "losing patriarchy" that came with it.
However, Jiuguo was obviously worried, and Junichi was not so strong at all. Even if he confronted his father with his mouth, as long as Jiuguo taught him a few words in turn, he would immediately surrender his weapons and surrender. The reason why Junyi hates and despises his father is because he has a fear and guilt for his father in his heart, but Junyi himself does not realize it. In the final analysis, behind the "fatherly kindness and filial piety" of the Ogata family, there is actually a grotesque emotion of mutual contempt and fear for each other.
Based on the distorted relationship between husband and wife and the parent-child relationship, the tail-shaped family relationship is also difficult to be healthy. There is a detail in the original book: Sunday is the "reunion day" of the Odagi family, and the four people must perform the family atmosphere on this day, and they pretend to be very happy and say some empty gossip. Everyone hides the malice in their hearts and plays their role well.
This deformed family relationship may be explained in the field of psychology, but when the author shows it naked to the average reader, all we can feel is full of human evil, and the first story of the original book is enough to shatter the three views.
The second episode of Peach, the middle-aged retired greasy uncle Kiryu Katsumi in the story, is sluggish and obscene, and it is really difficult to like. But it was too pitiful to be hostile to the whole family just because of her idleness, and Katsumi's distress was far more than that.
In the episode, Lady Teruko refuses to sleep with Katsumi due to lack of sleep; but in the original, she only hates the youthfulness shown by her husband's "sexual exuberance". Rejecting conjugal life and mocking Katsumi for being old and disrespectful became Teruko's passive defensive response to curb aging and escape death.
Katsumi, who is energetic, is repeatedly frustrated in front of her elderly wife, and her majesty as a husband has long since disappeared. But the repressed desire needs to be released, and Katsumi has no choice but to start her daughter-in-law. However, as a result of Wangmei quenching her thirst, when Nanase came to Kiryu's house, Katsumi finally found a "practical" goal.
In order to intuitively compare the girl with the peach, the series added a bridge section where Nanase eats peaches, and Katsumi also began to think differently. But in the original work, the image of the peach is Katsumi, associated with the famous poem of the American poet Eliot, "The Love Song of Prufolock". Katsumi has a strong resonance with the "fear of aging" described in the poem, and he applies the erotic association triggered by the image of "peach" in the poem to the young girl Nanase, while at the same time intricately intertwining the desire to "return to youth".
Reading the original book here, it is no longer just a satirical peach joke, from which we can even see the confusion of the social animal after being stripped of its work.
In the original work, Katsumi has always believed that the meaning of his own existence lies entirely in work, and only through work can he maintain his bond with others and society. But due to retirement, everything loses its purpose, and his "self" gradually collapses.
It wasn't until Nanase was attacked that she discovered that in Katsumi's heart, there was no lust impulse. For Katsumi, it's just a "job" with a little bit of physical pleasure. Therefore, not only did he not feel a little guilty, but he transformed the abuse of the maid into the "compensatory psychology" of his workplace frustration.
At the end of Peach's story, Katsumi goes mad under the spiritual obliteration of Nanase. The spiritual world of the madman is full of primitive fragments of the "original self", and Katsumi returns to a chaotic state, and there is a way that "the land is really clean when it falls into a white expanse"!
Well, that's all for this episode. Although the editor is shallow and shallow, but full of desire to survive, if there is something unsatisfactory in the interpretation, please hold back, and the upper right corner is not sent. Liked over 20,000, arrange the second ha. Then let's see you in the next issue ~ [I hope there is another issue]
