NiziU, Tokyo Incident, Ying Ren and other singers appear on stage at the 2020 Red and White Song Festival

NHK announced the list of 42 groups of singers from the "71st Red and White Song Festival" broadcast on Chinese New Year's Eve (December 31). A total of 10 groups of singers, including the Tokyo Incident, NiziU, BABYMETAL, Eheijin, and the special project GReeeeN, will debut for the first time.

　　The singers who have appeared the most often on stage are Koyuri Ishikawa, who appeared on stage for the 43rd time in the red group, and Goki Hirosh, who appeared on stage for the 50th time in the white group. Goki will be tied with Saburo Kitajima as the singer with the most appearances in history. Arashi, which will cease activities on December 31, is the 12th appearance.

　　This year's Red and White Song Festival will be implemented without an audience for the first time since its inception in 1951 to prevent the infection of the new coronavirus.
