Comprehensive management of water areas solves the "three spans" problem

Up to now, Jiujiang has built 1211 intelligent security communities, accounting for 99.67% of the total number of communities. It is understood that since last year, Jiujiang City has practiced the concept of "running at most once" for government services, built diversified mediation service centers in various counties (cities, districts), established a "6 + X" operating mechanism led by the Political and Legal Committee of the Party Committee, achieved the goal of "running to one place at most" for the resolution of contradictions and disputes, and resolved a large number of contradictions and disputes at the grass-roots level.
Since the operation of the mechanism, the Chaisang District Multiple Mediation Service Center has mediated 76 disputes, with a success rate of 95.8%, and the Xuncheng Diversified Mediation Service Center has mediated 221 disputes, with a success rate of 98%... Today, diversified mediation service centers have blossomed everywhere in Jiujiang.
Create a "volunteer police" group prevention and mass governance force

In May 2017, the Xunyang Branch of the Jiujiang Municipal Public Security Bureau took the lead in establishing the first volunteer police force in Jiangxi Province, the Xuncheng Volunteer Police Association (hereinafter referred to as "Xuncheng Volunteer Police"), which actively mobilized social forces and public welfare organizations to participate in patrol prevention and control, legal popularization, and school safety and other related work.
Since its establishment, the "Xuncheng Zhi Police" has more than 12,000 members, carried out patrols and duty for more than 72,000 person-times, assisted the police in discovering and handling public security problems 1,560 times, participated in assisting in handling 235 cases, helped the masses solve disputes and check safety hazards more than 3,600 times, and accumulated more than 280,000 hours of public welfare services.
In recent years, in the face of the practical problem of insufficient grass-roots public security police strength, heavy tasks and great pressure, Jiujiang City has strived to explore a new model of "mass prevention and mass governance + volunteer service", and comprehensively implemented the experience and practice of "Xuncheng Zhi Police" in the city. The relevant person in charge of the Political and Legal Committee of the Jiujiang Municipal Party Committee told reporters that at present, the city's counties (cities, districts) have set up volunteer police associations, and there are more than 22,000 volunteer police members, providing strong support for the construction of safe Jiujiang, and the people's sense of security and satisfaction has remained rising for many years.
