Bibliophiles in Chinese history, or high-ranking officials and eunuchs, or scholars, or rich merchants. However, there is no shortage of poor and book-loving families, and Wu Yifeng in the Qing Dynasty was such a well-known Hanshi bibliophile in the forest of books. Wu Yifeng (1742-1819), also known as Yi Zhong, was born in Xiuning, Anhui Province, and lived in Huaishu Street, Wu County, a descendant of the bibliophile Wu Quan. Huaishu Street is located in the ancient city district of Suzhou City, wu Yifeng said in the "Records of Dongzhai": "There are seven books upstairs and downstairs, for the volume of 12,000 people, daily sleep feeds in it." All the people who came and went were well-known scholars in the world, and the four sides were elegant, and there were many days, and the laymen did not dare to break into their seats, so Yu also did not live up to this fast. "There is no white food to come and go, but the family is so poor that there is no overnight food. Ye Changchi's "Chronicle Poems on The Book Collection" quotes two poems from Wu Yifeng in Dai Yannian's "Autumn Lantern Cong": "Children report that the morning smoke is broken, and the remaining things are changed for rice in qingshan." In just two sentences, the spirit of the poor and calm Han Shi jumped on the paper. Shi Yunyu said in the "Epitaph and Preface of Mr. Wu Ming'an" that Wu Yifeng was "happy and quiet, external and internal, the family has no stone reserves, and the mouth does not speak poorly" . As a scholar, he had never been an official or had any land property, but he never worried about food and clothing, and only copied books by personal hobbies. In the "Preface to the Ancient Huantang Scriptures", he said: "It has been widely copied over the years. Yu Wu Ze Qingzhi Tang Zhang Clan, Zi Lan Tang Zhu Clan, Bao Shu Xuan Wang Clan, Fu Li Yan Clan; Yu Zhe Ze Bao Jing Tang Lu Clan, Zhi Zhi Zhai Bao Clan, Worship Jing Lou Wu Clan, all do not hesitate to pay each other with good books. "The books listed in the article are all books in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.

Wu Yifeng was known for his diligent copying and excellent schooling, and the books he copied were at that time being purchased by literati and scholars. Bao Tingbo said: "The calligraphy of Mei'an is beautiful, and the handwritten secret book is several and thousands of volumes, and the money is now in the room." "Qian Yu Room" is the library building of qian gu, a bibliophile in Suzhou in the Ming Dynasty, when Qian Gu was also unable to buy it, he copied it by hand, and it was almost full of buildings, and it was not fading until it was old, and the book forest was strange. Wu Yifeng also copied and completed many "different books", which had not been seen by other bibliophiles. Every time Wu Qian went to Suzhou, he was bound to visit Wu Yifeng, "staying for days and nights, and recording each other.". Huang Pilie and Wu Yifeng were friends in the same county, and often borrowed copies from each other, Huang Pilie borrowed from Wu the School's "Lupu Notes", "Four Spectra of The Literary Room", "Old Continuation", "Recent Events", etc., which are recorded in Huang Pilie's "Inscription on the Collection of Books in the Garden": "The age of the guest." Mr. Wu Mei'an was self-chu, and he left dozens of ancient books in the line, and borrowed the school for the rest of the time, and benefited a lot. There are those who have not been prepared, and it is intended to be recorded as a vice, and one of them is also a kind of "Recent Affairs Huiyuan". Zhang Jinwu, Shi Yunyu, Dai Yannian, Yu Xiaoke, Tan Xian, and others have recorded their books and sung poems.

After Wu Yifeng's death, his son guarded the collection of books. Huang Pilie wrote in the "Shen Xiaxian Collected Writings": "Wu Zhang'an once had a book, but it was difficult to ask for leave. Fortunately, his son Jin Zhai allowed Yu to ask, but still Showed it, and had to go through the survey. Later, his books were eventually scattered and scattered among bibliophiles, and all the bibliographies in modern public and private households included his collections, especially the books he personally copied and bought. The number of Wu's copied school books at that time amounted to thousands of volumes, but few of them survive to this day, which are extremely precious. The Shanghai Library has a large collection of Wu's manuscripts, including "Examination of the Imperial System of Past Dynasties", "Wutai Poetry Case", "Six Kinds of Secret Collection of Classics and History" and so on.
