The story of the history of the Weinan Party - Wang Taiji, who regards death as a homecoming

Wang Taiji, born in 1906, is a native of Lintong, Shaanxi. In May 1924, he was admitted to the first phase of the Whampoa Military Academy in Guangzhou, where he joined the Communist Party of China.

In the spring of 1926, the party organization sent Wang Taiji to work in the Zhen Shoushan Department of the Shaanxi Army, and soon became the commander of the first battalion of the Zhen Department Teaching Regiment.

At the end of 1927, Wang Taiji led the first battalion of the ZhenBu Teaching Regiment to garrison Linyou, Shaanxi. In April 1928, he led 50 or 60 officers and men of the first squadron of the battalion to revolt, left Linyou County by night, and prepared to carry out guerrilla warfare in Shaanxi and Gansu. When they reached Nanfang Town, they were besieged by local vigilante groups, the troops were scattered, and Wang Taiji escaped to the Weihua area.

In May 1928, the provisional Third Brigade led by Xu Quanzhong, a member of the Communist Party of China, marched to Gaotang, HuaXian County, and was reorganized into the Northwest Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army, with Wang Taiji as chief of staff, and Liu Zhidan, chairman of the Central Military Commission, and Tang Shu, commander-in-chief, leading the troops into the Weihua Uprising. At the critical moment when the enemy Tian Jinkai's cavalry division pounced on the headquarters of the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army in Gaotang, Wang Taiji commanded the Red Guards of less than a hundred men, took advantage of the favorable terrain, repelled the enemy's attack, and defended the headquarters of the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army. After the failure of the uprising. Wang Taiji went to Henan with his troops, was arrested by the reactionary authorities in Henan, and was taken to Nanjing Prison, where Yang Hucheng, then commander of the Nanyang garrison, was released on bail. Soon, Wang Taiji was appointed by Yang Hucheng as deputy brigade commander and chief of staff of the Supplementary Brigade of the 17th Division.

In 1931, Yang Hucheng transferred Wang Taiji to be the chief of the Recruit Training Department and the head of the cavalry regiment of the Xi'an Appeasement Office. In the spring of 1933, the Kuomintang mobilized four regiments of troops to "encircle and suppress" the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Soviet Region, and Wang Taiji served as the commander-in-chief of the "Suppression of the Communists" and moved from Sanyuan to Fangyao County. Through his close friend He Yuji, he reported to the provincial party committee his intention to lead an uprising. The Ccp in Shaanxi Province appointed Yu Haifeng to contact Wang Taiji.

On July 21, 1933, Wang Taiji led a cavalry regiment to declare an uprising in Yao County, confiscated all the guns of the local militia regiment, the county police station, and the county government, and took control of the whole county. According to the instructions of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the cavalry regiment was reorganized into the Northwest People's Anti-Japanese Volunteer Army, with Wang Taiji as the commander-in-chief and the commander-in-chief of the Third Road. The rebel forces opened the prison, released the prisoners, and with the cooperation of the Yaoxian County Cpc Committee, executed the leader of the vigilante group and the bully landlord who had committed the most heinous crimes. Seven days later, Wang Taiji led the volunteer army to March to Sanyuan, and when they reached the area of Yuanyuan, they encountered Sun Youren's troops who had come to "encircle and suppress", and after a long period of fierce fighting, they were outnumbered and most of the troops were scattered due to the defection of Zhang Longtao, the leader of the third brigade. Wang Taiji led more than a hundred people to break through the siege and reached Zhaojinsu District.

In August 1933, the Red Fourth Regiment and the Yaoxian guerrillas also arrived in Zhaojin. In order to unify command, the Shaanxi-Gansu-Border Special Committee of the CPC presided over a joint meeting in Chen Jiapo and decided to set up a provisional general headquarters of the Red Army in Shaanxi-Gansu-Gansu-Gansu, with Wang Taiji as the commander-in-chief, Gao Gang as the political commissar, and Liu Zhidan as the chief of staff. On October 29, Wang Taiji led his troops to Qingyang County's Maojiagou Gate to rest, and was suddenly attacked by the enemy Zhao Wenzhi regiment. Undaunted by the danger, Wang Taiji led dozens of warriors down the hill and resisted the enemy's attack.

From November 3 to 5, 1933, the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Special Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Provisional General Headquarters of the Red Army held a meeting in Baojiazhai, Heshui County, Gansu Province, and decided to restore the 26th Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army and establish the Red Forty-second Division, with Wang Taiji as the division commander.

At the beginning of 1934, Liu Guitang (Hei Qi) led more than 10,000 bandits armed with the "Shandong People's Army" to the border of Henan and Shaanxi. In order to win this armed force, Wang Taiji offered to persuade Liu Hei to raise a righteous anti-Japanese war. On the second day of the first lunar month, when Wang Taiji entered the White District in disguise and passed through Tongrun Town, Chunhua County, he was arrested by Ma Yuncong, an old acquaintance and head of the security regiment. The Nanjing government strictly ordered "executions." Before his execution, Wang Taiji was awe-struck and wrote the "Desperate Poem" of the mighty mountains and rivers: "Kun Han vibrated and the mountains and rivers moved, and Xiao Guan frequently turned the universe red." Thousands of miles away, the dream soul should know to send sorrow. On March 3, 1934, Wang Taiji bravely took up his righteousness at the Military Justice Department of the Xi'an Appeasement Office. In 1951, the Party and the People's Government built a memorial pavilion and a memorial tower for the martyr Wang Taiji in Xi'an Revolution Park for future generations to admire and commemorate.
