In the mid-1920s, there was a Yunnan student in Shanghai, in the stormy revolution, taking the lead, bravely standing at the head of the tide, under the leadership of the Communist Party, threw himself into the student movement, became the first communist party member of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and under the direct leadership of Zhou Enlai and Luo Yinong, organized an armed uprising of 100,000 workers in Shanghai's Hudong District, he was Zhang Yonghe, who came out of Yunnan Provincial No. 1 Middle School.

Zhang Yonghe, also known as Zhang Zhizhong, was born on May 7, 1902 in Tuoge Village, Yunxing Township, Dongshan District, Luxi County, Yunnan Province. From 1915 onwards, the teenager Zhang Yonghe went to the Provincial No. 1 Middle School alone to study, and later went to Beijing, Tianjin, Tangshan, Shanghai and other places to study, and personally experienced the May Fourth Movement. In 1925, he joined the Communist Party of China at Shanghai Jiaotong University, served as the first secretary of the party branch of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and introduced Comrade Lu Dingyi to the party.

In August 1925, dispatched by the All-China Federation of Students and the Shanghai Federation of Students, Zhang Yonghe returned to Yunnan to develop Li Guozhu, Chen Zuwu, Wu Cheng, Yan Yingjun and others to join the Communist Youth League and found the Yunnan Communist Youth League Organization.

On March 21, 1927, the third armed uprising of workers broke out in Shanghai, which shocked the world, overthrew the rule of feudal warlords and established a Shanghai citizen government directly elected by the people. Although this government survived only 24 days, it left a strong mark on the history of the Chinese revolution.

In this great uprising with world influence, Zhang Yonghe, who was only 25 years old, as the secretary of the Shanghai Eastern CPC Committee, under the direct leadership of Chen Duxiu, the general head of the special committee, Zhou Enlai, the commander-in-chief of the uprising, Luo Yinong, and Zhao Shiyan, responsible persons of the Jiangsu and Zhejiang District CPC Committees, was in the front line and organized and commanded the strike and uprising of 100,000 workers in Hudong District, thus writing a brilliant and splendid page in the history of the Chinese workers' movement.
