The city held a meeting to promote marriage management and welfare work for the disabled

On the afternoon of March 3, the Civil Affairs Bureau held a meeting to promote marriage management and welfare for the disabled in 2021, summarizing and reviewing the achievements made in marriage management and welfare work for the disabled in Shanghai during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, especially in 2020, and according to the spirit of the 2021 Shanghai Civil Affairs Work Conference and the video conference of the Department of Social Affairs of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the work tasks during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period are mainly in 2021. Mei Zhe, deputy director of the Civil Affairs Bureau, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the meeting, the Civil Affairs Bureau of Changning District and the Civil Affairs Bureau of Jing'an District respectively made exchange speeches on the pilot project of community rental services for rehabilitation aids and marriage management; the Marriage Management Office of the Civil Affairs Bureau made a circular on the implementation of the "Civil Code", the construction of innovative marriage and family culture, the informatization and intellectualization of marriage management, the construction of a credit system, and the reform of marriage customs; the Disabled Welfare Department made a circular on the promotion of the rehabilitation assistive device industry, two subsidies for the disabled, community rehabilitation services for mental disorders, the construction of nursing institutions for the disabled, and the centralized employment of the disabled.

Mei Zhe fully affirmed the achievements made by the civil affairs bureaus of various districts in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the disabled in the past year in epidemic prevention and control and poverty alleviation, reviewed the highlights of the work in the field of marriage management and welfare for the disabled during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, especially in 2020, and elaborated in depth the key tasks involving marriage management and welfare for the disabled in the preparation of the 14th Five-Year Plan for Civil Affairs. She pointed out that 2021 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the PARTY, the second stage of the "three-step" strategy in the new era and the opening year of the "14th Five-Year Plan", and the civil affairs bureaus of all districts should do a good job in the next step from four aspects:

Adhere to the "people-centered" thinking to lead business work;

Further strengthen the overall planning of work, actively strive for the support of all relevant departments, integrate and coordinate multi-party resources, and jointly help people's livelihood protection;

Strengthen work innovation and use reform ideas to break through difficulties in work;

In strengthening the construction of the team, we should enhance the awareness of risk prevention and control of clean government, and create a good political ecology with a clean and healthy atmosphere.
