The fourth large-scale stage art exhibition, the red theme of large-scale modern Cantonese opera "Daughter of the Party" was staged at 8 pm on October 26, 2021 at Zhanjiang Film Theater, and the online live broadcast channel was opened synchronously, so stay tuned!
The play is based on the 1958 film of the same name, Daughter of the Party. The drama tells the story of the female Communist Party member Yumei escaped from death, found the district party secretary Ma Jiahui but found him a traitor, with the help of Ma Jiahui's wife, Yumei escaped from the Ma family, the white bandit army surrounded and killed, survived after jumping off the cliff, and when he went to Dongshan alone to look for the party organization, he met Osmanthus and Cuilian in the middle of the road. Three strong female Communists spontaneously formed a party group, headed by Yumei, to lead the masses in the struggle, buried the bodies of martyrs, and executed the traitor Ma Jiahui. In order to rescue the guerrillas who came down the mountain to get grain and salt from the trap set by the enemy, Yumei broke into the tiger's den alone, smashed the enemy's conspiracy, and the story of heroism and righteousness.
