Miss Building on Baixia Road (Lei Guojun)

There is a former site of a lady building in the Bailitz Science and Technology Park of Jiangsu Haiyuan, No. 273 Baixia Road, Nanjing, which is said to have been the daughter of Li Hongzhang, the minister of Beiyang in the Qing Dynasty, hence the name. I visited the place and found several inscriptions that say, and that's true. However, the Zhendi building was built in 1912 and is a completely Western-style two-story building. It is about 10 meters high, tall and spacious, and ventilated through the body.

The inscription also says that this place was originally built by Zhang Yunyi, the admiral of Jiangnan, and was purchased by Zhang Peilun after the defeat of Zhang Peilun in the Battle of Mawei in Fujian during the Tongzhi period. The Legislative Yuan of the Nationalist Government was served in 16 years, and it is indeed a protected early Republic of China building.

Zhang Peilun's yuan was the daughter of Zhu Xueqin (Xiu Bo, 1823-1875), a native of Hangzhou, a scholar of Xianfeng II (1852), an official to the cabinet to read a bachelor's degree, and a secretary of Dali Temple. After The death of Zhu Nu, she married the daughter of Bian Baoquan (Runmin?-1898), who was a red flag bearer of the Han Army, and in the second year of Tongzhi (1863), she was promoted to Shaanxi, the Governor of Henan, and the Governor of Fujian and Zhejiang. When Zhang Whoshu died of illness in the Beijing government, both of them were the daughters of famous women.

As mentioned earlier, When Jia Shen was zhang just a meeting, it was inevitable that it would be unfair to push all the responsibility on him, and the Qing court only wanted to deal with Zhang Peilun's discussion, in order to appease the indignation of the Min people, so he asked him to go outside the Guanwai, and soon the court decreed: "Zhang Peilun has no mediocrity to do it", allowing him to redeem himself, Zhang Peilun has nothing to do after he returns, into Li Hongzhang's curtain division copy, legend has it that one day, Li Zhongtang occasionally felt the wind and cold, summoned Peilun into the inner room to speak, Zhang was on the desk, saw that there were poems, it was the Yong Ma Jiang war, love words were on the side, and peace was discussed, Pei Lun was very sympathetic to what happened to Pei Lun, after Pei Lun read it, he was very moved, and asked the rear to know that it was made by Miss Zu Xuan, the young daughter of Li Zhongtang, born of Lady Zhao of the stepmother, twenty years old, good at composing poetry, Li Zhongtang To peilun chose a son-in-law, asked what the status of the required talent was, Li Casually replied, Like you, Pei Lun took advantage of the situation to kneel down and propose marriage, Li Zhongtang coldly may as well do this, had to agree.

When this matter reached Hou Ya, Madame Zhao vigorously opposed it, scolding Li Hongzhang for being confused, saying: "Her daughter, who is like a flower and a jade, is not high or low, and she has chosen a thousand choices, which will choose a forty-year-old prisoner. The old two quarreled endlessly, and Miss Zuxuan was afraid that things would be big, so she came out to persuade her mother, saying that choosing a son-in-law was the first to learn, and the official position was secondary, and expressed her agreement to this family affair, and Lady Zhao had no choice but to see this.

Li Zhongtang donated a Sanpin Daoist job to Pei Lun, and after the two got married, they were in love and very affectionate. However, Li Hongzhang's two sons, Jing Fang, jingmai du and Pei Lun were at odds, and they did not want to take him away from time to time, and Through Fang's entrustment of Tianjin Customs Road to Yu Shi Duanliang to impeach Zhang Peilun: "Living in the Beiyang curtain, vainly doing official business." Pei Lun and his wife really could not stay any longer, so they had to move to Nanjing, and Miss Li took out her private money, bought an old house, and usually read and chanted poems, collected rare books and ancient books, and was comfortable. Therefore, Nanjing Baixia Road has the legend of the Miss Building.

Nanshi Building

A place in the area of Seongnam Comment street is called NanshiLou. The Qing Dynasty poet Chen Wenshu once wrote a poem: "More than three hundred years of passing water flow, only the old famous building in Nanshi City remains." Light smoke and powder are gone, where is the fourteenth floor of the spring breeze? "Nanshi Building is one of the "fourteenth floor of Spring Wind" in the Ming Dynasty. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, Jinling was the capital of the country, the city walls were vast, the shops were gathered, the buildings were four, and the scales were lined up, of which the fourteen buildings were the most famous, with the reputation of "the fourteenth floor of the Spring River in the Flower Moon", and the Nanshi Building was also listed here.

NanshiLou, originally an Anyuan Building in the Song Dynasty, was destroyed by war, and the Ming Dynasty rebuilt this building at the former site of Anyuan Lou and renamed it Nanshi Lou. The newly built Nanshi Building, carved beams and paintings, the houses are magnificent, and the geisha who have fallen into the wind and dust welcome the new and send the old here, leaning on the door to sell laughter, and live a career of "spring wind and autumn moon and so on". The Qing Dynasty attacked the Ming system, and the grandeur of the NanshiLou did not diminish that year. The outbursted merchants, the fallen bachelors, the officials who have mixed up their careers, the wanderers who have broken into the rivers and lakes, the three religions and nine streams, the disciples of the eight parties have lingered here, and the NanshiLou has become a place to hide dirt and grime.

In the forty-third year of the Kangxi Dynasty, after Chen Pengnian became the prefect of Jiangning, he vigorously rectified the social order and ordered the demolition of the Nanshi Building and its transformation into a lecture hall. At the same time, the elderly are ordered to teach filial piety, compassion, loyalty, faithfulness, etiquette, righteousness, honesty, and shame on the first and fifteenth day of each month. When the news came, the whole city was in an uproar, and there were those who clapped their hands and applauded, those who were indignant, and those who secretly made troublemakers. Just when the governor of Liangjiang, Ah Shan, was dissatisfied with Chen Pengnian's refusal to increase taxes, and was about to frame him, so he seized on the big fuss, attacked him a little, spared no effort, and gave Chen Pengnian the charge of "building a pavilion on it one by one, and Reading the Holy Word by Yueshuo, which is a great disrespect." Fortunately, the Kangxi Emperor did not deal with it, Chen Pengnian was spared death, and the centuries-old famous building "Nanshi" was destroyed and scattered, leaving only a place name.
