He is a member of the Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Branch of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a member of the Clinical Teaching Committee of the Shanxi Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a member of the Standing Committee of the Geriatrics Professional Committee of the Shanxi Association of Integrative Traditional and Western Medicine. Everyone who studies Chinese medicine has read Sun Simiao's "Great Doctor Jingcheng", which expresses the requirement for doctors to be "Boji medical source, diligent and tireless", in addition, it also requires doctors to "see each other's troubles, if they have it". One essence and one sincerity reflects the medical ethics of the doctor. I think that as a doctor, to do these two things, you can be called a good doctor.

- Wen Hong

1 At the age of 18, he became a young intellectual and determined to learn Chinese medicine

In 1956, Wen Hong was born in the family dormitory of a hospital in Taiyuan, his mother was a Western doctor, and no one in the family worked in traditional Chinese medicine. "Although my mother is engaged in Western medicine, I have been hearing about it for a long time, and I will always be more sensitive to saving lives and helping the injured than other people's children, and I have more of a reverence for life." Wen Hong said.

In 1974, the 18-year-old Wen Hong caught up with the last class to go to the mountains and go to the countryside to work as an intellectual youth in a county in Shanxi, where he and his companions settled in the team, and planned to take root in the countryside and build the countryside. "There, I really felt the lack of medical treatment and medicine among the rural people, not only the serious lack of medical facilities, but even the medical staff are pitifully small, there is only one barefoot doctor in a production team, there really must be an emergency serious illness, barefoot doctors can't treat it at all, that is, sending people to the county hospital may not be able to get good treatment." Wen Hong said that when he was in the queue, he had an idea, hoping to have the opportunity to learn Chinese medicine, "because most barefoot doctors learn Chinese medicine techniques, and most of them use the hope and smell of Chinese medicine, I have personally witnessed the trust of rural people in barefoot doctors, and I have also seen the miraculous efficacy of Chinese medicine in treating diseases." ”

In 1977, Wen Hong, like the intellectual youth of that era, returned to the city from the countryside that he thought he would take root for a lifetime, facing another important change in his life. "I first went to work in a factory in Taiyuan as a worker. However, in my heart, there is always a more important goal to achieve, that is, to enter the University of Chinese Medicine and become a Chinese medicine doctor. Wen Hong said.

In December 1977, China resumed the 10-year hiatus of the gaokao. Wen Hong, who had always wanted to enter the university, did not dare to sign up, and he had doubts about whether he could be admitted to the university.

In July 1978, Wen Hong took the college entrance examination after reviewing cultural knowledge for a year, and was admitted to Shanxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, becoming the first undergraduate student of the school. After really starting to study Chinese medicine systematically, he found that Chinese medicine is broad and profound, and the various theories and academics contained in it are complex and complex, which cannot be mastered overnight, and it is necessary to understand some after careful and hard study. He immersed himself in the vast ocean of Chinese medicine, in addition to listening attentively to lectures and taking notes in class, he would also "nibble" books after class and learn clinical experience from old Chinese medicine. Especially in the techniques of acupuncture and massage, he learned carefully and carefully, which laid a solid foundation for him in his future work.

2 During the aid to Africa, it was a headache for the General Administration of Cameroon

In 1983, after ending a long five-year university period, Wen Hong graduated from Shanxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and entered the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The best TCM doctors in Shanxi Province were gathered there, which gave the young Wenhong the opportunity to learn more about TCM clinical knowledge, and he also fully applied what he learned during his university years to practical clinical work, such as acupuncture and tuina. He is particularly good at treating spinal and related diseases, painful diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, stroke diseases and other incurable diseases, and has a more in-depth study of acupuncture techniques.

In 1996, because of his outstanding professional skills, excellent work performance, and won a good reputation among patients, Wen Hong became a member of the Chinese government's medical team to aid Africa, and was sent by the Chinese government to Cameroon to provide medical services for the people of the country. At that time, Wen Hong was the only TCM practitioner in the medical team, and what he brought to Cameroon was not only the mature acupuncture and massage techniques, but also the TCM culture that had been passed down in China for thousands of years. "Not long after I went, the then President of Cameroon, PaulBia, sent someone to find me because of headaches, insomnia and other problems. At that time, the other party did not tell me the specific symptoms of President PaulBia, but only asked me to make a diagnosis after meeting him. After a brief communication with President PaulBia through the most traditional chinese medicine and through the Chinese Embassy's interpreter, I concluded that Mr. President was suffering from headaches, insomnia and other symptoms caused by excessive mental stress caused by busy state affairs and overwork, so I decided to use acupuncture and tuina therapy to treat him. When he first saw the acupuncture needles of Chinese medicine, he was surprised, but he quickly asked me to acupuncture for him. Half an hour later, the acupuncture ended and his pain symptoms disappeared. Wen Hong said that after this treatment, President PaulBia has developed a sense of trust in him, and a sense of trust in Chinese medicine techniques that have never been exposed to before. After that, he would ask Wen Hong to treat himself every once in a while, and his insomnia got much better. After many years, Wen Hong still relished the story of that experience, as if the scene of treatment was still in front of him.

During these 8 years, he served President PaulBia hundreds of times, whether it was a storm or a scorching sun, whether it was going to the presidential palace or running a long way to President PaulBia's hometown. "I remember once, for 15 days in a row, I followed the president's driver to the president's hometown every day, and the driver was so tired that he changed twice, but I didn't rest. In Cameroon, my actions represent not only myself, but also my country, and I cannot allow myself to relax. WenHong said that President Paulbia once said of him: "You have a pair of magician-like hands, and you have made my illness much better." Your work makes me energetic and more efficient. The Sino-Kazakh friendship is embodied in such details. In addition, President Paulbia also began to like the culture of Chinese medicine, and also studied the five elements of yin and yang in China.

In addition to President Paulbia, WenHong also treated the President's wife, mother-in-law, then Prime Minister M. Mulláson, The Director of the Presidential Office Belinger (currently Kazakh's Ambassador to the United Nations), Minister of Health, Minister of Supervision, Wife of the Minister of Defence, First Defence Commander and other senior Cameroonian officials and high-level figures, and received their praise.

In recognition of Wen Hong's outstanding performance in providing medical assistance in Cameroon, the Party Committee of the Chinese Embassy in Cameroon specially expressed its gratitude in a letter to his unit and expressed great satisfaction with his work.

3 Full of confidence in Chinese medicine, insist on taking students to do research projects

In 2011, due to the "hanging silk diagnosis of pulse", Chinese medicine was seriously questioned in China, and some people swindled and deceived Chinese medicine under the banner of Chinese medicine to bring great harm to Chinese medicine, the efficacy of Chinese medicine was criticized, and Chinese medicine was compressed by Western medicine to the point of extremely small space. "The theory of Chinese and Western medicine is different, if you compare it with the size of clothes, Western medicine is equivalent to the so-called S, M or L number, each yard of clothing has its own standards; while Chinese medicine is equivalent to finding a tailor for yourself, which is tailored for yourself. Chinese medicine believes that no two people's physical condition is the same, even if it is the same person, there will be different changes at different stages. The life activities of the human body are typical complex systems that cannot be fully explained by existing science of anatomy, experimentation, statistics, and microscopy. If We evaluate Chinese medicine with Western medicine standards and study Chinese medicine with the method of studying Western medicine, it will inevitably lead to the tragedy of Chinese medicine and will also be the tragedy of contemporary science. Wen Hong said.

Wen Hong said that his love for Chinese medicine has penetrated deep into the blood and bone marrow. He believes that Chinese medicine must have a future, and Chinese medicine practitioners must strengthen their professional confidence. In many aspects, the efficacy of Chinese medicine is stronger than that of Western medicine, and it is more and more popular with the people because of its simplicity and low price.

In November 2010, Wen Hong once treated a patient with a headache that had been on attack for more than ten years. The patient said that the headache has affected her life and work for more than a decade, and she is in pain. In order to thank Wen Hong, she specially took the pennant and went to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, which Wen Hong later transferred, to express her gratitude.

Today, Wen Hong, as the vice president and chief acupuncture expert of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has never left the clinic, and he still insists on sitting in the Chinese Medical Hall every week to treat patients. In addition, he also insisted on bringing his doctoral students and graduate students to do project research together, presided over provincial scientific research projects, and published medical monographs "Acupuncture new understanding". "Everyone who studies Chinese medicine has read Sun Simiao's "Great Doctor Jingcheng", which expresses the requirement for doctors to be 'Boji medical source, diligent and tireless', in addition, it also requires doctors to 'see the other person's distress, if you have it'. One essence and one sincerity reflects the medical ethics of the doctor. I think that as a doctor, to do these two things, you can be called a good doctor. Wen Hong said.
