In order to save the kiln worker, the 32-year-old Tong Bin angrily jumped into the kiln and threw himself into the fire to die, in protest, perhaps his feat touched the heavens and the earth ghost god, the next day, when the kiln worker opened the kiln door, a bright and brilliant dragon jar appeared in front of everyone, the kiln workers were sad and happy, one by one kneeling in front of the kiln... At the same time, tong bin's death also aroused the indignation of the craftsmen, and the whole town rioted, burning the tax office and the official kiln factory, and Pan Xiang fled alone. In order to ease people's hearts, the imperial court, at the strong request of porcelain workers and townspeople, erected a shrine for Tong Bin on the east side of the Imperial Ware Factory, and called it "Wind and Fire Immortal", and the name of the shrine was "You tao ling ancestral hall", which is the story of the kiln god Tong Bin and the big dragon jar.

Then burn the fire tightly for two days and nights to form the restorative atmosphere required for the firing of porcelain. Through the fire eye of the kiln, you can see that the cylinder box changes from red to white, and the fire can be stopped when the front and back are clear. Then wait for the furnace to cool down for ten days before opening the kiln. It takes nine days and nights to burn a dragon cylinder alone, and it takes nine days and nights to burn firewood, and in these nine days and nights, it is necessary to always grasp the amount and speed of firewood thrown, and even the dryness and wetness of the kiln firewood, in order to control the size and atmosphere of the flame, which is a meticulous, arduous, and difficult labor. The big dragon cylinder is a testimony to the advanced level of traditional Chinese porcelain making technology.
