On September 2, the first part of "Dream of the Red Chamber" "Spring and Summer, Wind and Moon Prosperity" will be premiered, and on September 3, the lower part will be premiered "Autumn and Winter, Eating Birds", leading the audience to feel the faces of all beings in the Grand View Garden and appreciate the Chinese aesthetics.

Screenwriter Yu Rongjun hopes that the creators and the audience will "stand in mid-air" to re-examine the novel "Dream of the Red Chamber", "the drama is based on the original work, which is a reading of what is thought, thought, chosen and expressed from the perspective of contemporary people, and as a communication with contemporary audiences." The story in the play is not separated from the original work, it is a synthesis, condensation and reorganization of the original storyline, a history, two major families, Jia Baoyu, Lin Daiyu, Xue Baochao's three-person friendship and the fate of all sentient beings are all very critical and classic parts of the play. ”
In Yu Rongjun's view, the original "Dream of the Red Chamber" is a rare novel that first says the ending and then the original commission. The same is true of the drama "Dream of the Red Chamber", the audience can see the fate and ending of some characters at the beginning or in the play. However, the structure and form of expression of drama and novel are different, and the way of telling stories is also different, "The drama breaks the timeline of the original work, based on the relationship between characters, the relationship between people and family, politics, society, dreams, illusions, mirror images and reality, past, present and future dialogues, etc., with the struggle and connection between people and fate to restructure this play." In the play, there are classic scenes of "Dream of the Red Chamber" that the audience is familiar with, but there are also new interpretations and expressions. ”

Director Cao Yan believes that "Dream of the Red Chamber" contains Chinese traditional oriental philosophy, Jia Baoyu has experienced the rebellion of "human" spirituality and the internal conflict of the deep cultural environment, "The direction of the drama "Dream of the Red Chamber" is to try to open the spiritual world of "Dream of the Red Chamber", reflect the appearance of life and psychological reality, show the spiritual map of a sentient being, and pursue the inner spiritual integrity of "Dream of the Red Chamber". ”
"Dream of the Red Chamber" stage design is from Liu Xinglin's hand, the entire stage with white as the main tone, three huge "white walls" with the plot open and close, like three sides of the book, there are some clever settings, such as the iron structure on the set of the hollow text is from the "Dream of the Red Chamber" poem "Good Song", such as the flying "falling red", and such as exquisite wooden palanquins, carved tables and chairs, pavilions, etc.
The music composed by Qi Feng is based on the theme of dreams. In the white stage set, the lighting design Tan Hua uses the aesthetic lighting language to create a dreamlike scene. All the costumes of the characters in the play are made of white, based on classical Chinese costumes, with modern and simple cuts, and a large number of traditional fabrics such as silk and ramie are used. Costume designer Yang Donglin said that "no scale" is his aesthetic tone setting for this character modeling creation. White seems simple, but all-encompassing, the costume is based on tea white, moon white, tooth white, and silk color, according to the identity, personality, and fate of the characters, supplemented by cinnabar, crimson, daisy, crow blue and other colors.
