On September 30, the opening ceremony of the Guizhou Weining (Weining) Wai (Weidong) Expressway was held in Weining Autonomous County, Guizhou Province. The expressway will open for operation at 00:00 on October 1, and the travel time from Xuanwei in Yunnan to Weining in Guizhou will be shortened from the current 3 hours to 50 minutes.

The Weiwei Expressway is about 28 kilometers long, starting from The Mountain Pond on the west side of Jinzhong Town, Weining County, with the Admiralty Hub Interchange connected to the Liuwei section of the Duxiang Expressway, ending at the boundary of Qiandian Province, and ending at Yangliu (Dianqianjie) in Yunnan Province to the Xuanwei Section Expressway Can Cross the River Special Bridge.
