At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, there were three kingdoms, and the lords of the three countries were able to accomplish things, which was nothing more than the help of capable people and strangers. Just like Liu Bei of the Shu Han Dynasty, there were also Zhang Fei and Pang Tong around Yu and Zhuge Liang, who followed Liu Bei from birth to death and advised Liu Bei, so that Liu Bei could make a big fist.
The two Han Dynasties and four hundred years were divided into Wei Shu Wu. Friends who are familiar with "Three Kingdoms" have a certain understanding of zhang fei and Guan Yu, and have also produced some views. After the fall of the Shu Kingdom, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei's situation was actually very different, these two were both founding generals of the Shu State and Liu Bei had life and death friends, why was the difference in fate so great?
A lifetime of glory is not as good as that of future generations
Guan Yu had two sons in his lifetime, one was Guan Ping and the other was Guan Xing. Guan Ping is the boss and has always followed Guan Yu in Jingzhou. In the Battle of Xiangfan, Guan Yu and Guan Ping were killed together, and Guan Ping's branch was completely broken and there were no descendants. Guan Xing did not mix with his father, but always followed Zhuge Liang's side and was deeply favored by Zhuge Liang.
Guan Xing's branch, because Guan Xing withdrew early at that time, he became anonymous, so he survived, and even had two children. Guan Tong and Guan Yi were both from Guan Xing's bloodline, and they successively inherited Guan Yu's title, but they both died early and left no incense. So, Guan Yu didn't leave any descendants, and now if you hear anyone say who is Guan Yu's offspring, it's all fake.
Zhang Fei also had two sons here, Zhang Bao and Zhang Shao. Zhang Bao is not a simple person, he has won the hearts of the people, and in his body, he carries the expectations of countless people for the revitalization of Shu Han. It may be that the heavens are jealous of the talents, but this young man who is very likely to bring life to Shu Han will not be able to escape death. Upon learning of Zhang Bao's death, Zhuge Liang was even more grief-stricken, and he became seriously ill for this.
Zhang Bao's son was also a courageous man, quite a father, but he finally died in the Battle of Mianzhu in Deng Aifa Shu. Zhang Shao was another son of Zhang Fei, when Shu Han was destroyed and Liu Chan surrendered, and it was Zhang Shao who was ordered to take the imperial seal with him to surrender. Zhang Shao not only lived well, but was also given the title of Marquis. Zhang Fei is considered to have left behind descendants.
Background reasons have very different endings
Why two people end up with very different endings, I think has a lot to do with the background behind them.
After the fall of the Shu Han Dynasty, the Bashu region began to be turbulent. Many families were implicated in the turmoil, among which the Guan Yu family suffered heavy losses. Guan Yu's family had fallen, and could only barely be regarded as an aristocratic family, and there was no official and half-time position, and there was no big man behind them to protect them. Even if shu Han still had hope to continue in the future, Guan Yu's descendants were just some relatively wealthy ordinary people, and they did not pose any threat.
Pang Hui was not afraid of what ability such a person would have to retaliate against him in the future, so the Guan Yu family was like a fish on a knife, and there was no room for even any return. I think that if Guan Yu's family is large enough to make Pang Hui jealous of three points, he will not die at the hands of Pang Hui.
After Liu Bei's death, Liu Chan succeeded to the throne. Liu Chan's daughter-in-law was Zhang Fei's daughter and empress of the dynasty. If there was any problem in the Zhang Fei family, others would naturally pull the problem to Sima Zhao. If the mother's family of an empress of a country is not at peace, how can ordinary people believe that they are safe?
Secondly, even if Liu Chan is an unsupportable Ah Dou, he still has a very important position in the hearts of the people. Although Sima Zhao's power was tilted against the opposition, he could easily deal with Liu Chan, but for the sake of bashu's stability and in order to appease the people, he would not really do anything to Liu Chan.
Of course, Sima Zhao will also take this level into account, although he loves power, but he also knows that he must consider the pros and cons, and if the people make trouble and the country is unstable, it will be very tricky at that time. In order to avoid this, he must be the first to stand up to protect Zhang Fei and Zhang Fei's family. Anyone who might threaten the Zhang family, Sima Zhao would severely punish him.
In fact, to put it bluntly, even if the Zhang family is pampered and proud, it doesn't matter, anyway, it can't make any waves, sima Zhao will not regard the Zhang family as a scourge at all. Therefore, Zhang Fei had Sima Zhao' big Buddha to look at, he was leaning against a big tree to cool off, naturally he was fearless, of course, no one dared to live impatiently to find the obscurity of the Zhang family, wasn't that not to give Sima Zhao face?
In addition to Sima Zhao's reluctant to save the Zhang family and become Zhang Fei's patron, Zhang Fei and the Xiahou family were also related by marriage.
Zhang Fei has always had good luck, can you imagine a person who can still grab a beauty when he is running? Zhang Fei is such a person, he has already fallen to that point, and he still can't help but grab it when he sees the beautiful little lady. Unexpectedly, this little lady was not small, not only Xiahou Yuan's niece, but also Xiahou Ba's cousin.
The Xiahou family was a noble family with a head and a face in Cao Wei, and coincidentally, the relationship between Xiahou Yuan and Cao Cao was very good, and Zhang Fei had grabbed the treasure. Xiahou gave birth to two daughters for Zhang Fei, both of whom were made empresses by Liu Chan. If someone dealt with the Zhang family, it would be equivalent to offending the Xiahou family. Guan Yu and Zhang Fei have very different personalities
Guan Yu can be said to be a person who makes people love and hate him. He was particularly loyal, and no one except Liu Bei could get into his eyes. Once Liu Bei was identified, he would no longer do things for others. Guan Yu is also particularly good and capable, so he has developed a proud personality, and he does not know how to think in a different position, and when he speaks, he does not know how to take care of the emotions of others, and he often offends people. I don't care what these people think, and I don't bother to correct it. So when Guan Yu had an accident, no one reacted to protect his descendants, and no one was willing to go out to help Guan Yu's descendants.
The second master spent his life fighting horses and killing many people:
Wen Jiu beheaded Huaxiong and killed Kong Xiu when he crossed Dongling Pass; killed Han Fu and Meng Tan when he crossed Luoyang City; killed Bian Xi when he crossed The Water Pass; killed Wang Zhi of Taishou when he crossed Xingyang; killed Qin Qi when crossing the Yellow River crossing; killed Kong Xiu when crossing Dongling Pass; killed Han Fu and Meng Tan when crossing Luoyang City; killed Bian Xi when crossing The Water Pass; killed Wang Zhi of Taishou when crossing Xingyang; and killed Qin Qi when crossing the Yellow River crossing.
These people who were killed by him can be said to be the "martyrs" of the three countries, and their descendants will naturally be cared for, and their career development will be smooth. Cut the grass without removing the roots, and the spring wind blows and grows again. Therefore, in Guan Yu's later years, his enemies were basically very powerful.
Although Zhang Fei also had many enemies, he almost never let people die, at most he would let people suffer some flesh and skin, and at most he would kill Ji Ning, a major general. Therefore, even if Zhang Fei offends people, he is not a "deadly enemy" crime, and he killed many people in time, most of them are people who have no strength, and there is nothing to worry about.
Although Zhang Fei is also a temperbroken, he has done a good job in dealing with people in the world, his heart is as meticulous as a hair, he observes the color of words, and he meets the source left and right.
Guan Yu looked down on those who were morally upright, and did not like to be with them, but he was very good to his subordinates. Zhang Fei and Guan Yu are just the opposite, he will go to shoot the superior's ass, but he is very harsh on the next person. From this point of view, Zhang Fei's road is destined to go a long way.
What seems to be accidental is actually the end that has long been predestined
As mentioned earlier, Guan Yu did not cut the grass and remove the roots. Once the enemy's descendants rise up, they are doomed to be destroyed.
In the twenty-fourth year of Jian'an, Guan Yu led an army to attack Fancheng, and Pang Hui's father, Pang De, was a fierce general of Cao Cao, and Cao Cao sent the Seventh Army to rescue him, and Pound was among them. When Guan Yusheng captured Pound, Pound was still paying homage to the general in the State of Wei. At that time, Yu Ban surrendered, but Pound not only did not want to surrender but also scolded Liu Bei and Guan Yu with a bloody head.
In fact, according to Guan Yu's temperament, he admired people like Pound. Righteous, bloody, a man, on the contrary, he does not look up to the forbidden kind of wall grass. It was because of Pound's loyalty that he had to die. Even if Guan Yu did not kill him and changed into someone else, Pound would not have to die, but it was just an arrangement of fate that allowed Guan Yu to kill Pound.
Pang Hui always wanted to avenge his father, but he never found the opportunity, and finally in the Battle of Xiangfan, Pang Hui found an opportunity to take revenge.
During the Battle of Xiangfan, Sun Quan temporarily defected, resulting in Guan Yu's defeat and the loss of Lü Meng's hands. In 263, Pang Hui rebelled against Shu Han, Liu Chan surrendered, and Pang Hui was always looking for opportunities for revenge. It's just that at that time, the Guan family was quite prestigious, and Pang Hui really couldn't find the opportunity to start for a while. Unexpectedly, God gave the opportunity for revenge to Pang Hui so quickly.
At that time, the Shu Han general Jiang Wei surrendered fraudulently, causing the State of Wei to launch a frenzied revenge against Shu Han, and many innocent people died tragically. Pang Hui also took this opportunity to kill many people in the Guan Yu family, which was considered revenge! The people of the Guan Yu family were innocent, and in the matter of Guan Yu and Pound, they did nothing, but they had to bear the wrath of Pang Hui!
If Sun Quan had suddenly turned against him at that time, perhaps the ending would have changed, but why would he do it? Personally, I think it is actually because Sun Quan hates Guan Yu in his heart.
At that time, Sun Quan also liked Guan Yu very much, and he even hoped to form a family with Guan Yu. He wanted Guan Yu's daughter to marry his son, but Guan Yu did not agree, but instead raised his daughter and degraded Sun Quan's son.
A simple refusal made Sun Quan suddenly lose his face, and for this matter, Sun Quan has always held a grudge in his heart and has been waiting for an opportunity to retaliate.
It was precisely this variety of things that doomed Guan Yu's ending not to be too good. He lived in an age of great talent, but he was not forgotten in that world of red dust because of the passage of time. The moon was still as bright as tonight, shining softly on Guan Yu, who was sitting idly in the tavern, and took a deep breath to allow the cold wine.
