Shen Weilong: "Shaanxi Wenbo Brother" after the 90s

On the afternoon of May 5, 2021, on the occasion of the May Day holiday, my family and I passed through Binzhou City and made a special trip to the relatively remote Cemetery of Gongliu. There is a concrete road that leads directly to the lingtan and smoothly reaches the north side of the gongliu tomb, where there is a magnificent sacrificial hall, que tower and square.

First of all, I was in the parking lot, operating a drone aerial photography of the tomb of Liu Liu. Then, my family and I walked through the square, walked into the ceremony, and came to the bottom of the mausoleum. On the west side of the newly built main hall, there are several Qing Dynasty buildings, which are once the Gongliu Ancestral Hall. On April 20, 1992, as part of the Gongliu Tomb, the Gongliu Ancestral Hall was also announced as the third batch of Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

After a circle around the Gongliu Ancestral Hall, only the mountain gate, the main hall and six stone tablets remain, which are about 60 meters long from north to south and about 28 meters wide from east to west. The whole group of buildings of the Gongliu Ancestral Hall sits north and faces south, but the direction of the mountain gate and the main hall is inconsistent, the mountain gate is open to the north, and the main hall is facing south. Maybe they weren't built at the same time?

The north side of the mountain gate is a wall, and a coupon-shaped door is opened in the middle, above which is inlaid with the stone plaque inscribed by Wei Demao, the county magistrate of Binxian County in the 34th year of the Republic of China (1945); The north side of the main hall is an enclosed wall, and the south side is three wide, with wooden doors and wooden windows. Today, the mountain gate and main hall have been renovated, and although the exterior is renewed, the interior is empty. The two buildings face each other from north to south, and there are no other buildings around, which have lost their former style.

On the left and right sides of the south side of the main hall, three stone tablets are erected, which are inlaid in the green brick walls. Among them, there is a stone stele written by Bi Yuan, the inspector of Shaanxi in the Qing Dynasty, which was once erected in front of the tomb of Gong Liu, which is equivalent to the tombstone of Gong Liu Tomb.

In addition, there are also erected here the monument of "Qiu Qigong Liu Ancestral Hall" by Ming Jiajing's twenty-three years (1544) Governor Of Binzhou Sun Li, the "Tomb of Gong Liu of Zhongchun Sacrifice" erected by Yao Benkai, governor of Binzhou in the twenty-eighth year of Ming Jiajing (1549), the stele of "Rebuilding gong Liu Ancestral Hall" erected by the governor of Binzhou in the thirty-fourth year of the Ming Wanli calendar (1600), the stele of "Gong Liu Tomb" erected by the governor of Binzhou in the twenty-first year of the Qing Dynasty (1756), and the stele of "Rebuilding the Gong Liu Ancestral Hall" erected by the governor of Binzhou County in the thirty-fourth year of the Republic of China (1945).

In the first collection of poetry in ancient China, the Book of Poetry, there is a famous "Daya Gong Liu", which tells about the great achievements created by Gong Liu. Gong Liu was the early leader of the Zhou tribe, devoted himself to agricultural cultivation, inspecting the performance of the land, crossing the Weishui from lacquer water and depressed water, and cutting wood for people to use. Thus, those who go out have wealth, those who settle have savings, and people live a good life.

Therefore, the people around him admired him very much, most of them moved here to return to the Zhou people, and the cause of the Zhou Dynasty began to flourish, and people created poems to praise his virtues. After Gong Liu's death, his son Qingjie took the throne and established the capital of the state in Fengdi, located in the southwest of present-day Bin County and Xunyi County.
