In addition, over the years, with the importance of reading, more and more reading mothers have emerged, and fancy co-reading methods such as "deduction, interaction, and questioning" have emerged in an endless stream, which has also led to everyone's neglect of the original text word by word.

Why children's language is good is inseparable from reading
Like many mothers, Chihiro started reading as soon as she was born.
Often before going to bed, when she changed into clean pajamas and snuggled up to me like a kitten, I fell into the warm light at the head of the bed, a nursery rhyme, a story, until she fell asleep with a satisfied expression.

At that time, I didn't know what reading aloud had brought to my children, except for the intimate relationship that I could clearly feel. Fortunately, although it is not clear, we still insisted on this matter.
Now Chihiro third grade, everyone says that the third grade is a watershed, from the perspective of language, it has indeed begun to pull the gap, the most obvious is the composition, the first and second grades are just a hundred words to see the picture to write, the third grade directly jumped to three hundred words essay.
At first, I was a little worried, I don't know if she can handle it, but it's not bad at the moment.
But many children are stuck here, chihiro said that many of their classmates either can't hold back the words, or the number of words is not enough to use saliva to make up, but also cleverly divide a few more natural paragraphs to appear to be more space.
In fact, not being able to hold back words is the vocabulary "out of stock", and the saliva is that the sense of language is not up to standard, and I don't know how to combine various words in different scenarios. And these two points are exactly what reading aloud can help improve, I think this is probably the reason why the teacher repeatedly emphasizes reading aloud!
A rich vocabulary is inseparable from reading aloud
There's a reservoir in our brains called the Listening Vocabulary Library.
Children first learn vocabulary through listening, just as we never learn English faster than children in English-speaking countries, because we can't hear enough English vocabulary, especially when we are young.
Only when the listening vocabulary is "filled with water" can the speaking and writing vocabulary "overflow", which is determined by the input-output relationship, and sufficient input is the basis for high-quality output.
So someone needs to fill your child's listening vocabulary, and reading aloud does just that.
You might say that talking to your child is not also a listening vocabulary, why do you have to read it aloud?
Indeed, chatting can teach children some vocabulary. However, the survey found that whether between adults or adults and children, general language communication uses at most 10,000 common words, and these 10,000 common words are written and strange words that play an important role in reading and writing.
Linguists have done experiments and found that when adults speak to three-year-old children, they only use 9 strange words per thousand words, and the strange words in children's books are three times as many, and oral communication is obviously inferior to printed books in terms of accumulating effective vocabulary, which is why we must use reading to "store water" for children's listening vocabulary library.

A good sense of language is inseparable from reading aloud
Vocabulary is the foundation, but if you want to learn the language well, the amount alone is not enough.
The vocabulary stored in the child's brain has to be alive, you have to understand its rhythm, know where and how to use it.
The ability to use this vocabulary combination is inseparable from a long period of language practice.
Some people feel that the sense of language is a talent, and they are naturally sensitive to words.
As a linguistics bully, I would like to say that most ordinary people can't talk about talent at all, including myself, and the sense of language is slowly accumulated from long-term listening and reading.
Any child, insisting on reading aloud can also do it.
For example, Mr. Yu Yongzheng, a special primary school Chinese teacher, attaches great importance to reading aloud, and every lesson he teaches begins with colorful reading.
When talking about "The Story of the Escape of the Little Rice Seedlings", there is such a passage in the text:
"The drizzle in the rice paddies kept falling. Weed said weakly, "It's over, we... They were all out of breath. ”
When Teacher Yu reads weeds, he will lower his voice and deliberately read it out of breath.
The "drizzle" in this passage refers to the chemical herbicide sprayed by the sprayer. After Fan read it, some children still read with full strength, and Teacher Yu joked:

0 to 3 years old read nursery rhymes

After children enter primary school, whether it is reading literacy, writing reserves or the construction of values, reading texts need to focus more on classic masterpieces.
