He said: In the face of the recent grim situation of ensuring the supply of electric power, all relevant departments should further enhance their political standing, and from the high plane of stressing politics, promoting development, and safeguarding the people's livelihood, they should do a good job in organizing the initiative to ensure coal and electricity supply, so as to better meet the needs of the people's livelihood and enterprise production. Yichang Power Supply Company should adhere to the principle of "giving priority to demand response and ensuring the bottom line of orderly electricity consumption", accurately do a good job in power demand side management and orderly use of electricity, and resolutely adhere to the bottom line of "power rationing does not pull the gate" and "power curtailment is not limited to civil use". It is necessary to coordinate the "chess game" of the whole network, scientific dispatch, comprehensive measures, give full play to the supplementary role of wind power generation and small hydropower, and effectively reduce the pressure on power supply.

At present, the No. 1 generator set is operating normally, and the No. 2 generator set is closely under maintenance. Due to the increase in the price of thermal coal, the cost of power generation of enterprises has increased, but the person in charge of the enterprise said that it will strictly fulfill the political and social responsibilities that central enterprises should bear, obey the unified scheduling, and meet the electricity needs of all parties. Ma Zejiang affirmed this, and urged relevant functional departments to pay close attention to docking relevant provinces and coal enterprises, increase procurement efforts, smooth transportation channels, expand thermal coal reserves, and focus on helping enterprises reduce costs and promote the full release of power production capacity. It is necessary to actively strive for the upper level, provide high-quality government services, and support enterprises to accelerate the promotion of power expansion projects. While alleviating the current shortage of electricity supply and demand, it is necessary to prepare for the peak of electricity consumption in winter in advance and effectively stabilize the "ballast stone" of the industrial economy.
