1, Sino-Japanese War
The Sino-Japanese Sino-Japanese War was Japan's invasion of China and Korea at the end of the 19th century. According to the Chinese dry branch chronicle, the year 1894 when the war broke out was the year of Jia Wu, so it was called the Sino-Japanese War.
In 1894, the Dongxue Party revolt broke out in Korea, the Korean government army was defeated and retreated, forced to beg for help from the suzerainty of the Qing Dynasty, and Japan also took the opportunity to send troops to Korea to deliberately provoke war.

Russa-Japanese War (Japanese: Russa-Japanese War; Russian: Руссско-Японская война) was a war between the Japanese Empire and the Russian Empire in the lands of northeast China between 1904 and 1905 for control of the Korean Peninsula and China's Liaodong Peninsula.
3, Jinan massacre.
In the seventeenth year of the Republic of China (1928), Chiang Kai-shek led the National Revolutionary Army to carry out the Northern Expedition, and Japanese militarism feared that once China was reunified, it would not be able to allow Japan to invade wantonly, so it tried its best to obstruct the Northern Expedition. In May 1928, in the name of protecting the overseas Chinese, Japan sent troops to Jinan, Qingdao and Jiaoji along the railway line, preparing to stop the Northern Expedition of the National Revolutionary Army by force.
When the National Revolutionary Army re-established Jinan on May 1, the Japanese army sent troops to invade the Shandong Negotiation Bureau set up by the Chinese government on May 3, cut off the ears and nose of the negotiator Cai Gongshi, then shot him, killed all the staff of the Negotiation Bureau, and attacked the National Revolutionary Army garrison and wantonly burned and slaughtered in Jinan. In this case, the Chinese people were burned and killed, reaching more than 17,000 people, more than 2,000 injured, and more than 5,000 captured. At the same time, the Japanese army detained a large number of vehicles in Jinan, cut off traffic lines, and forcibly occupied administrative organs along the Jiaoji line.
