From October 19 to 20, Li Yusheng, vice president of the provincial court, and his party came to the town to investigate and supervise the "looking back" work of the court contingent's education and rectification, gained an in-depth understanding of the development of the first batch of education and rectification "looking back" work and the implementation of the tasks of the courts at the two levels in Zhenjiang, and held a forum to earnestly listen to the opinions and suggestions of the grass-roots courts and front-line cadres and policemen on the education and rectification of the second batch of courts in the province. Tang Xiaofu, secretary of the party leading group and president of the Municipal Intermediate People's Court, reported on the development and existing shortcomings of the Zhenjiang court in the "looking back" stage of education and rectification from the aspects of studying the effects of education, handling of case clues, rectifying stubborn and chronic diseases, rectifying feedback opinions, and building systems and mechanisms, and put forward corresponding opinions and suggestions.
Vice President Li Yusheng fully affirmed the "looking back" work carried out by the courts at both levels in Zhenjiang, stressing the need to further enhance the political position, continue to carry out the "looking back" work in depth, continue to do a good job in rectifying and implementing the feedback from the central supervision group, and ensure that the problems are not solved and the rectification is not left in place. It is necessary to further focus on the stubborn and chronic diseases of the line, continue to do a good job in rectifying problems, focus on cases of commutation, parole, and temporary enforcement outside of prison in violation of laws and regulations, irregular exercise of discretion, inadequate prevention and punishment of false lawsuits, and violations of laws and regulations, continue to carry out investigation and rectification, and continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and credibility of trials. It is necessary to further strengthen systematic thinking, continue to promote the overall planning of work in depth, closely integrate education and rectification with the work of studying and educating party history, trial enforcement work, and comprehensive reform of the judicial system, solidly carry out the "two in two together" action of building new merits, and the practical activity of "I do practical things for the masses", ensure that the education and rectification and the promotion of the high-quality development of court work are grasped with both hands, two mistakes, and two promotions, and the results of education and rectification are tested with excellent judicial performance.
Before the meeting, President Li and his entourage visited Xu Wen, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhenjiang Municipal CPC Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, to listen to opinions and suggestions on the work of the court. President Li and his entourage also went deep into the Executive Bureau of the Dantu Court and the Ding Di Court of the Development Zone Court to have face-to-face exchanges with front-line cadres and policemen and listen to opinions and suggestions.
Li Hongjian, president of the Second Civil Division of the Provincial Court, and Zhang Gong, head of the Research Department of the Provincial Court Research Office, participated in the investigation.
