Nie Weiping, honorary president of Zhangbi Chess Academy, Wang Runan, Shi Yanyong, consultants, Li Kehu, member of the Standing Committee of Jiexiu Municipal Party Committee and minister of propaganda, Ye Xinhua, chairman of Zhejiang Yuanli Group, Guo Zhiqiang, chairman of Shanxi Weiqi Association, and Lu Douheng, president of Zhangbi Chess Academy, jointly inaugurated the Zhangbi Chess Academy.

Zhangbi Chess Academy was completed in August this year, covering an area of 1,000 square meters, which can hold Go events, academic exchanges, daily training and other Go activities, and is currently one of the most equipped chess academies in China

In order to commemorate the establishment of the chess academy, two professional masters were played on the spot on the same day. The women's opponents are Shanxi professional five-dan Huang Yan and Wang Xiangyun three-dan, and the men's opponents are Shanxi professional chess players Wang Junsidan and Han Ye four-dan. The chief judge of the commemorative game was Wang Runan, who implemented the live broadcast of off-site explanations, and after two hours of fierce fighting, Wang Xiangyun and Wang Jun defeated their opponents and won.

The Chinese Go Culture Exhibition was held in ZhangbiQi Courtyard on the same day, exhibiting more than 100 pieces of cultural relics and ancient books. These include the chess scores and yili written by the ancient Chinese Go masters Fan Xiping and Shi Xiangxia, and the chess pieces and chess boards handed down from the Song Dynasty to the present, showing the long history and profundity of Chinese Go culture.
