Born in December 1996, Li Zijun was a "Grand Slam" winner of domestic figure skating events, coupled with her pure and sweet appearance, so she was known as the "figure skating goddess".
In 2013, at the age of 17, Li Zijun won the seventh place in the world championships of the adult group figure skating for the first time, so she was pinned high hopes on the women's singles event, and some media once shouted out the slogan of "Kim Yeon-er's successor". The sweet-looking Li Zijun was also popular with many Japanese and Korean netizens, and she even once suppressed Kim Yeon-er and Asada Masayoshi to be praised as the "first asian figure skating goddess".
However, due to the "too fast" physical development and continuous off-field problems, Li Zijun did not fully realize his talent. In March 2014, she played abnormally at the Saitama World Figure Skating Championships, finishing only 17th. The underperforming "figure skating goddess" showed off selfies and food photos during the competition, and said that Tokyo was her "favorite" city. On November 13, 2018, Li Zijun, who was under the age of 22, announced his official retirement in a post on social media.
