Isn't Iron Abductor Li a powerful immortal? Why couldn't he even heal one of his own lame legs?

author:Zhang Shengquan's wonderful history

The Iron Crutch Lee is the head of the Eight Immortals in folklore, and an iron crutch and a gourd are his symbols. Among the Eight Immortals, although Tie Quan Li was the oldest qualified and his mana was second to none, his image really did not dare to compliment.

The iron crutch Li held a long iron crutch in his hand, and carried a gourd containing the elixir on his back. Unkempt, dark complexion, lame and chestless, disheveled, wearing gold hoops, a messy beard, and huge eyes like rings. This image is indeed far from the handsome and flowing immortal.

Isn't Iron Abductor Li a powerful immortal? Why couldn't he even heal one of his own lame legs?

(Portrait of Iron Abduction Lee)

Then, obviously Tie Qiu Li was already a god, why couldn't he even cure his own legs?

Legend has it that before The Iron Kidnapper Lee attained the Tao, he was originally a handsome man with a dignified appearance. He is polite and polite, with clear eyebrows and a large body.

Then, how did the original beautiful man become such a rude-looking and vicious-looking iron abductor?

Li Ningyang or Li Xuan, whose real name is Li Ningyang or Li Xuan, is a native of Lijiaba, Shimen Town, Jiangjin District, Chongqing. When he was young, he was gifted and had excellent memory, and he had the ability to never forget.

However, Li Xuan's family was poor, and he dropped out of private school after only one year. In order to make a living, his family sent him to the blacksmith shop, hoping that he would learn a craft to fill his stomach.

Under the careful guidance of his master, Li Xuan quickly mastered the skills of blacksmiths, often helping his neighbors to make farm tools and repair iron tools, winning praise from his neighbors. Li Xuan also relied on his exquisite skills, basically able to achieve food and clothing without worry, leisure and happiness.

However, such days did not last long, and his hometown was full of war and smoke. Li Xuan's blacksmith shop was also forced to close its doors and lost its source of livelihood.

Later, Li Xuanyuan left his hometown, resumed his old business, and opened a blacksmith shop. Business is still booming, and there is an endless stream of people who come to admire it. Li Xuan operates in good faith, profit is thin and fine, and the days are still moist.

A local land snake, a blacksmith shop with red eyes and Li Xuan, invited more than a dozen hooligans to come and make trouble all day. Li Xuan's shop was deserted in front of the door, and the business plummeted, and almost no customers came to the door.

Li Xuan, who was full of thoughts, then fled into the mountains to study the Immortal Dao and specialize in the art of cultivation. But as several years passed, the progress of cultivation was slow.

Isn't Iron Abductor Li a powerful immortal? Why couldn't he even heal one of his own lame legs?

(Taishang Laojun)

One day, Taishang Laojun was refining the elixir of immortality in the Cultivation Of True Rock, and after lighting the Bagua Furnace, Lao Jun Wuzi and several Daoist friends drank freely and exchanged magic, completely forgetting that the Bagua Furnace was still burning.

When Lao Jun returned, the refining of the elixir had exceeded the hour, and the Bagua furnace had also been burned with a horn. Taishang Laojun had to go down the mountain to find a blacksmith to repair, and met Li Xuan by chance.

The wise Li Xuan quickly repaired Lao Jun's Bagua Furnace, and at the same time realized that Lao Jun taishang was not very human, and his Taoism was quite profound, so he begged him to accept himself as an apprentice. Lao Jun saw that Li Xuan was skillful and had a little foundation in cultivation, and was impressed by his sincerity, so he accepted this disciple.

Li Xuan, who had a very high level of understanding, after practicing with Taishang Laojun for three years, became a great master of The Dao and was able to guide the gods to travel.

The so-called guided god travel, that is, the yuan god out of the way to travel around, and the shell remains in place. As long as the shell is still there, after the Yuan God turns around, it can still return to the shell and become a normal person.

One day, Li Xuan was concentrating on practicing on the mountain. Lao Jun instructed him, "Prepare yourself, use the art of guiding the gods to travel, and follow me to the Immortals of the Huashan Congregation." ”

Before leaving, Li Xuan instructed his disciples to keep his flesh and mortal womb for 7 days. If you still don't see him after 7 days, burn the flesh, don't let it rot, and pollute the wonderland here.

After explaining these matters, Li Xuan immediately settled down, leaving behind a shell, and the Yuan God followed Lao Jun on Mount Hehua.

Six days passed, and the disciple guarding the shell suddenly received the news that his mother was critically ill. Anxious disciples pondered, the master may not be able to return on time, since the ancient loyalty and filial piety are difficult to complete, or go home as soon as possible to do filial piety.

So the disciple knelt before Li Xuan's flesh, prostrated his head and said goodbye, and burned his flesh.

On the 7th day, when Li Xuan returned to cultivating True Rock, he found that his body had been incinerated. Li Xuan's Yuanshen couldn't find a shell to attach to, and he was anxious all day long. Just at this time, Taishang Laojun returned to the mountain.

Lao Jun told Li Xuan that if he wanted to restore his human form, he could only find a body that had not died for more than 7 days and borrow a corpse to return the soul in order to survive this catastrophe.

Li Xuanyuan came to the bottom of the mountain and happened to come across a corpse that had just starved to death, and Lao Jun said, "That's it." Li Xuanyuan entered through the head of the corpse, and after the spirit returned to the shell, the beautiful man became an ugly man with a unkempt tendrils, black face and huge eyes, and a limp right foot.

This is the ultimate classic image of Iron Kidnapper Lee.

Then, some people will ask: Since TieQiu Li is a god who is good at healing all diseases, why not cure his limp?

In fact, since Tie Quan Li is a god who is passed down in the folk, then his lameness is a symbol, it symbolizes a defect, a regret. This kind of deficiency is everywhere, whether in the human world or in the celestial realm.

Just like people who have beauty, they don't necessarily have wisdom. People who have wisdom do not necessarily have health. And with health, you risk losing your wealth. And if you have wealth, you may lose your happiness.

Only when we face up to this universal defect can we face it and overcome it, and can we leave no regrets in life.

At the same time, Tie Quan Li was already ranked in the Immortal Class, and his cultivation was important, so naturally he would not care whether his appearance was glamorous or not. He is interested in the benefit of the world and the benefit of all sentient beings. A lame foot does not affect his efforts to move forward and bless the good deeds of the world.

Third, even if Tie Que Li himself is disabled, it does not hinder the disease of healing people. He is good at eliminating human diseases, but it is difficult to get rid of his own accumulated diseases. The so-called "medicine does not self-medicate", which also reflects the subtlety of the dialectical thinking of the ancients.
