On October 26, 2021, the Operation Coordination And Management Committee of Haikou Meilan International Airport (hereinafter referred to as "Meilan Airport Transportation Management Committee") organized and held a meeting on flight normality management and preparation for the change of winter and spring seasons. The meeting invited Hu Yan, deputy director of the Civil Aviation Hainan Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau, and the relevant responsible business supervisors of the Transportation Department and the Airport Department to attend the meeting, and a total of 38 leaders at all levels, including the Hainan Air Traffic Control Branch of the Civil Aviation Hainan Air Traffic Control Branch, Meilan Airport, airlines, HNA Technology, and Meiya Oil, which are members of the Airport Transportation Management Committee, attended the meeting.
The meeting was first reported by the Office of the Airport Transportation Management Commission of the key indicators of the management of flight normality in the third quarter, and according to the points management measures of the Operations Management Commission, Hu Yan, deputy director of the Hainan Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau of Civil Aviation, presented the flag to the advanced units of Hainan Airlines and HNA Technology in the third quarter; subsequently, Meilan Airport, civil aviation Hainan Air Traffic Control Branch, Hainan Airlines, and China Southern Airlines respectively reported and summarized the normal management of flights in the third quarter and the recent operation guarantee. In-depth exchanges, analysis and discussions were conducted on the preparations for the second phase of operation and the continuous improvement of the epidemic prevention and control system.
Then, Chairman Lan Jianqiong and Chairman Yang Xiaobin of the Meilan Airport Transportation Management Committee made overall arrangements for the normality of flight work, epidemic prevention and control, phase II transfer, winter and spring season guarantees, etc., requiring all units to attach great importance to it, continue to give play to the coordinated operation mechanism of the Transportation Management Committee, always maintain the "one game of chess" thinking in the jurisdiction under the influence of various objective factors, keep in mind the overall situation, strive to improve the efficiency of flight operation, and strive to ensure that the normal rate of flights meets the assessment standards of the bureau, and at the same time require all units to integrate prevention and control measures with the true service of passengers. Finally, Hu Yan, deputy director of the Civil Aviation Hainan Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau, gave instructions for the next stage of work, requiring the Meilan Airport Transportation Management Committee to continue to carry out flight normalcy management around the "four management systems".
