In the early stage of construction, he participated in the overall design review, basic design review and detailed design review of the storage and transportation system, and completed the review of 276 PID drawings of the storage and transportation system. In July 2021, the whole plant's units entered the sprint stage of feeding and commissioning, and the low-temperature ethylene tank group, as the "throat" connecting the upstream and downstream devices, only had the conditions for sealing the tanks on June 29, and the process pipeline has not yet been fully constructed, which has become a difficulty that must be overcome in the hard battle of feeding and commissioning. In order to ensure the progress of the whole plant test, he rose to the challenge, organized the on-site operators to strictly follow the test plan to carry out process treatment of the relevant systems of the cryogenic tank group, and the process pipeline conditions were replaced and purged, which lasted half a month, and the dew point of the whole system of the cryogenic tank group was qualified and the receiving conditions were available. During the start of the low-temperature ethylene tank group, he was even more sleepless for 36 hours to ensure the pre-cooling of the storage tank, and the BOG compressor and the compression and condensation system of the refrigeration unit were put into use to make the liquid level of the cryogenic tank group complete a leap forward. During this period, he led the internal and external operation staff to carry out 24-hour special care for the tank pump, the tank pump and the low-temperature ethylene vaporizer for nearly a month, and opened up the whole process of low-temperature ethylene delivery to the downstream device.
Safety and environmental protection measures related to the tank farm are a matter of concern to the whole plant. Because the company's exhaust gas treatment facilities use imported equipment, only two to three sets of equipment have just been put into use in China, to ensure the stable operation of the incinerator in various working conditions, and successfully complete the task of exhaust emission standards after the whole plant is put into operation, which has become a problem for him to scratch his head. In the midst of difficulties, it also aroused his fighting spirit, adhering to the belief of "serious, can only do things right; with heart, in order to do a good job", he combined with the actual situation on the spot, from scratch to learn independently, on-site hard work, the new equipment, new processes to eat thoroughly, quickly master the performance parameters and operating skills of the equipment, and the complex operating conditions one by one debugging, so that everything is in mind, smoothly achieve the task of exhaust emission standards.
After the plant is fully started, the product factory has become a key factor affecting the stable operation of each device. In the case that the pipeline transmission does not have the conditions for the time being, and the shipping process is not opened, the car loading and unloading station almost bears all the pressure of the liquid factory, and under the dual pressure of the epidemic and the National Day holiday, the smooth loading and delivery of the car has become a problem. He made every effort to organize and coordinate, and broke through the problems of inaccurate flowmeter measurement, loading flow rate too fast, mismatch of joint types, and failure of the quantitative loading system one by one, ensuring the smooth and stable loading of liquids at the car loading and unloading station.
