On October 13, cadres of municipal and county organs concentrated on the autumn voluntary sand pressing activities of cadres and workers at the Sifangdun Qingsuo Ecological Public Welfare Forest Base in Changning Town, Minqin County. Deeply practicing the concept of green water and green mountains is the concept of Jinshan Yinshan, continuing to carry forward the spirit of Wuwei in the new era, and making every effort to fight a good battle against sand and sand control. A total of 4,800 cadres and workers of municipal organs and units and Minqin County organs participated in the voluntary sand pressing activities, and nearly 2,000 mu of sand pressing were completed on the same day.
Wang Guobin, Ma Deming, Ju Yi, and other municipal leaders, and county leaders such as Li Wanquan, Li Xinrun, and Meng Shenghu participated in the sand suppression activities together with cadres and workers.

Adhere to ecological priority and green development, focus on the aeolian sand areas that affect the production and life of the masses within the oasis, implement sand prevention and control projects on a large scale, continue to promote the action of doubling the greening of the national land, strengthen the comprehensive management and protection of key sand areas, build a northern sand prevention belt, unremittingly carry out engineering sand pressing, artificial afforestation, sand sealing and afforestation, and treat an area of more than 40,000 mu per year, the northwest line of the oasis Qingtu Lake, Laohukou, Longwangmiao and other areas with serious sand pollution have been effectively treated, the quality of the regional ecological environment has been significantly improved, and the desertification of the whole county has been significantly improved. This autumn, Minqin County plans to complete the pressing of 15,000 mu of sand in Qingtu Lake and Sifangdun in Changning Town.
