Huanglan Bus Station, located in Lingang District, is a key project for the priority development of public transport promoted by the city, leading to Wenden District to the south, to the high-tech zone to the north, and to the east to connect with Lishan Town of Lingang District and the Management Committee of Lingang District. The station covers a total area of about 3,000 square meters, divided into office dispatching area, charging area, maintenance area, parking area, green area and other functional areas, and will become one of the important nodes of the public transportation in Wendeng District and the central urban area.
"The original transfer station was located in Wang Yan Town, the vehicle dispatch response was slow, and the bus in the Huanglan area could only stop at the side of the road, which was a safety hazard." According to the relevant staff of the Municipal Transportation Bureau, at the beginning of 2020, the Lingang District Construction Bureau and relevant units conducted many inspections on the site selection of Huanglan Bus Station, and then, after nearly a year of construction, Huanglan Bus Station was completed and put into use. After completion, the Huanglan Bus Station can adjust the interval time and frequency of vehicles in real time according to the needs of the masses, so as to improve the convenience and comfort of the people to ride and wait for the car.
After the station is put into use, it can realize the zero-distance transfer of bus vehicles in Wenden District, Lingang District and central urban area. At the same time, the charging station in the station is equipped with 5 high-power chargers, which can meet the charging of 10 new energy vehicles at the same time, and can also provide charging services for social vehicles.
"The completion of the Huanglan Bus Terminal is another measure for the Municipal Transportation Bureau and the Lingang District Management Committee to carry out the practice of 'I do practical things for the masses' in depth." The relevant staff of the Municipal Transportation Bureau said that according to the operation of the station, the Municipal Transportation Bureau will further optimize and adjust the direction of the existing bus lines and the setting of stations and shifts in conjunction with the Lingang District, gradually implement preferential measures for transfer in the station, and continuously improve the bus service system of group interconnection, connecting towns and districts, and spreading throughout urban and rural areas.
