According to the official report of the University of Washington, the team's famous and former NBA player Quincy Pondesset has been appointed as the assistant coach of the team.

Pondezider's NBA career lasted seven years, playing for the Pelicans, Grizzlies, Bulls, and Spurs, averaging 15.6 minutes per game, 4.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists.

Pondezett played for the University of Washington in 2006–10, scoring 1,786 points for the team, fifth in team history. The University of Washington is a prestigious school in the NCAA, and players such as Fultz and Thomas Jr. have played for it.
