On October 19, the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of China in Luohu District, Shenzhen opened. In the afternoon of the same day, Liu Sheng, deputy to the district party and secretary of the district party committee, went to the ninth and tenth delegations to participate in the group discussion, exchanged face-to-face with the deputies, and discussed the development plan of Luohu Lake.
The deputies held that the Eighth Party Congress of Luohu District is a very important congress held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, at a key juncture at the historical intersection of the "two hundred years" goal of struggle, and at the historical moment when Luohu is grateful and forges ahead again. The report of the party congress scientifically summarized the development achievements of Luohu in the past five years, with clear thinking and rigorous structure, established the goals and key tasks of the next five years, drew a blueprint and pointed out the direction for the future development of the jurisdiction, and gathered people's hearts and urged people to forge ahead.
At the meeting, party deputies combined their own work and talked about their feelings and work plans around the fields of party building leadership, industrial upgrading, grass-roots governance, and ecological construction.
In the course of the deputy's speech, Liu Sheng listened carefully while taking notes. Liu Sheng said that this is an opportunity for mutual exchange and learning, and during the discussion, he heard the voices of party members and representatives from the grass-roots level, enterprises and other fields, hoping that everyone would deepen their understanding of the report during the discussion and actively put forward better opinions and suggestions.
Liu Sheng pointed out that in the past five years, Luohu has made remarkable achievements in people's livelihood security, overcoming difficulties, urban governance and other aspects, and the urban area has a new look, which is worth every Luohu people are proud of.
In the new historical process, the central government has given Shenzhen a new mission, Luohu as a pioneer area of reform and opening up, we must seize the next five years of this important window period and opportunity period for sustainable development, aim at the beautiful vision of "Bay Area Hub, Vientiane Luohu", focus on the overall goal of "Socialist Modernization Sustainable Development Pioneer Urban Area", adhere to industrial leadership, service upgrading, strengthen the three major hubs of transportation, exchanges and consumption, and come up with the determination and perseverance of "establishing great ambitions, undertaking big responsibilities, innovating industries, and opening up new bureaus", with a sense of mission and responsibility. Carry forward the pioneering spirit and struggle culture of Luohu people, and promote the "hub of the Bay Area, Vientiane Luohu" from blueprint to reality.
