We all know the tension and complexity in Afghanistan.
What is surprising is that in the past two days, foreign media have revealed that the former minister of Afghanistan has fallen to the point of delivering pizza as a delivery man in Germany!
Not only that, but the former minister also holds several degrees in Communications and Electrical Engineering from Oxford University.
His name is Syed Ahmad Shah Saadat, a former Afghanistan's minister of information and communications.
Although the profession does not distinguish between noble and low, it is obvious that compared with the infinite scenery of the past, he now has to work hard for his livelihood, and the gap is still very large.
He has more than 23 years of political experience and has worked with at least 20 companies in 13 countries, including Saudi Arabia.
He was busy delivering pizza on his bicycle in Leipzig, Germany, when he was spotted by a local reporter.
Of course, the reporter must have received information in advance and came prepared.
The reason why Saeed fled to Germany is not difficult to guess.
He joined the government of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in 2018 as a cabinet minister. Ashraf has now fled into exile to live overseas.
But politics is far more complicated than you might think.
Fast forward to 2020, and saeed was forced to resign in December of the same year due to conflicts with the authorities' different ideas.
He had only one thought: to take the family to find a safe place to spend his life.
So the family immigrated to Germany and started a new life from scratch.
According to Sky News, after Saeed ran out of money, he found a job to support his family— a delivery man at the food delivery company Livrando.
Saeed believes his story "can be a catalyst for lifestyle change for people at the top of the Asian and Arab worlds."
It is reported that after the United States announced its withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Taliban quickly came to power, followed by Ayed's photo on the country's social networks.
Regarding the current situation in his homeland, Said said he never expected the speed of collapse to be so fast.
After graduating from Oxford University, he had a wealth of professional counterpart experience before becoming a minister.
He served as Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Afghanistan from 2005 to 2013.
He also served as CEO of Ariana Telecom in London from 2016 to 2017.
Today, Saeed only wants to live the ordinary life of ordinary people, away from strife.
Although the job earns 10 euros an hour, which is far from the minister's salary, nothing is more important than the safety and security of the family.
In addition to working hard, Said is also trying to save money in order to enroll in Classes as soon as possible to learn German.
As for the impression of Germany, he said that it is very good here, and in contrast to Afghanistan, Germany's politics are clean. He is happy with his current life.
