From October 11 to October 12, Ethiopian time, Wang Tao, deputy general manager of the Eighth Bureau of China Construction, visited Yang Yihang, Minister of Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia, and Birtukan Ayano Dadi, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, in Addis Ababa, ethiopia, to conduct in-depth exchanges on further deepening friendly cooperation, promoting the construction of key projects, and serving the economic, social and people's livelihood development of Ethiopia.

At the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia, Wang Tao held talks with Yang Yihang.

Yang Yihang welcomed the visit of Wang Tao and his entourage, spoke highly of the outstanding contributions made by The Eighth Bureau of China Construction in the construction of countries along the "Belt and Road", and inquired in detail about the operation of the Eighth Bureau of China Construction in Ethiopia and the construction of key projects. He hoped that the Eighth Bureau of China Construction would continue to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control, efficiently and orderly promote the construction of key projects such as the Ethiopian Commercial Bank and the MKT Highway, so as to better benefit the people of the territory.

Wang Tao thanked the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia for its long-term concern and support to the Eighth Bureau of China State Construction, and introduced the progress of the key projects of the Eighth Bureau of China Construction in Ethiopia. He said that the Eighth Bureau of China Construction will maintain close communication with all parties, actively coordinate the resources of all parties, promote the construction of key projects in Ethiopia with high standards, high quality and high efficiency, and contribute to the in-depth implementation of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the promotion of China-Egypt relations to a new level.

At the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry, Wang Tao held talks with Birtukan Ayano Dadi.

Birtukan Ayano Dadi welcomed Wang Tao and his entourage and thanked China State Construction Eighth Bureau for its great efforts in urban development and construction in Ethiopia. She pointed out that the Ethiopian Commercial Bank project undertaken by China Construction Eighth Bureau is an important platform for deepening China-Egypt cooperation and strengthening bilateral exchanges, and the project has deepened the friendship between the two countries while refreshing the city skyline. It is hoped that the Eighth Bureau of China Construction will fully continue to increase its business layout in the Ethiopian market and make new contributions to Ethiopia's economic development.

Wang Tao thanked the Ethiopian government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their long-term support and assistance to the Eighth Bureau of China State Construction. Wang Tao said that China Construction Eighth Bureau has been deeply cultivating the Ethiopian market for more than ten years and has jointly built landmark buildings such as the AFRICAN Union Conference Center with the Ethiopian people. It is hoped that the two sides will further deepen pragmatic cooperation, work together to create more new landmarks in cities, and create a new era model for China-Africa cooperation.
